This car is absolutely beautiful and a real head turner. It has taken a few Silver awards in some Ford Shows and always wins in local Car shows. This car is absolutely beautiful. The paint is incredible. It came equipped from the factory as a California Special with 6.95x14-1 Tires, Console, Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, AM radio, tinted glass, Deluxe Seat Belts, Deluxe Wheel covers. Lime gold is the Original Color and is still the color. This car shows very well and is a beautiful example of a rare Mustang. There were only 4,118 California Specials made in 1968. This car spent most of its life in San Francisco. It’s been a dry California Car all of its life. This car is really something to be proud of. The car has absolutely no rust. All original body panels. It’s never had any metal replacement that I can tell. Quarters are in amazing condition, floor pans etc. It’s just a fantastic car. The car is powered by a strong running and great sounding 289 V8 with a 4v Carburetor in front of a smooth shifting C4 automatic transmission. This is all hooked to the original 9” rearend. The car steers effortlessly with the Power Steering and allows you to drive down the road cruising with one hand on the wheel and the other laying across the passenger seat. The car stops great thanks to the power disc brakes. The engine is a 289 V8 with a 4V Carb and intake manifold. The engine is said to be the original. It has the original exhaust manifolds. The distributor has been updated as well and the carburetor. An original Carb does come with the car. The stay cool and will drive anywhere. I wouldn’t be afraid to take this car anywhere from 10 miles away to 2000 miles away. The body of the car really is in excellent condition. The paint is fresh, professionally done and looks great. The paint was also done right. Taken was meticulously taken apart and sprayed right. The trunk area is beautiful. Underneath of the car is straight and solid. Torque boxes and frame rails are immaculate. Floor pans are dry and nice. Floor supports are not dented up they looking excellent. The car has a newer exhaust system. The hood latches work great. Everything on the car works great. Fuel gauge, temp gauge, speedometer, all gauges work. The interior of the car is in excellent shape and is original. The car is in great condition. The headliner is also in great condition. The seats are original and do show some signs of wear. The console is original and could stand to be freshened up. The console is also missing the sliding garage door but those can be purchased easily and are an easy install. The car is a stunning example of a 1968 Mustang. I have a sweet and rare 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe 2 Door Coupe that has 64,000 told to be orginal miles. The person I bought it from purchased it from close friend and claimed mileage was original although I have no documentation to prove such. Very few of these still exist and along with the Cadillac Eldorado were the first production front wheel dive cars made for mass production. Jay Leno has one in his personal collection. This car runs and drives great. This car is in very restorable condition. It has the 425 Rocket V8 engine and automatic trans, power steering, power brakes, power tinted windows. It does have a minor exhaust leak at the header but is an easy fix and I will include new gasket. Exterior is in fair condition but does have a dent on front drivers side fender shown in pictures and also has minor bubbling around bottom quarters and trunk also shown in pictures. Floor and underneath are solid and rust free. The interior seats are still in nice shape but shows normal wear. This car really draws attention wherever it goes. It has Boyd Coddington wheels valued at close to $2000.00. The larger wheels and tires do give the car a tendency to road walk but I feel the look is worth it, but I do have 3 of the 4 original wheels that I will include with the car. Average retail on NADA Classic Car site is over $20,000 with high retail over $35,000. Reserve is way below those figures. It was my intention to restore car myself but situations beyond my control have made that impossibe but my loss will be someone else's gain. I have a sweet and rare 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado that has 64,000 told to be orginal miles. This car runs and drives great. It has the 425 Rocket V8 engine and automatic trans, power steering, power brakes, power tinted windows. Exterior is in fair condition but does have a dent on front drivers side fender shown in pictures and also has minor bubbling around bottom quarters and trunk also shown in pictures. Floor and underneath are solid and rust free. The interior is still in nice shape but shows normal wear. This car really draws attention wherever it goes.
