The Honda Civic HX is one of the most fuel efficient non-hybrid vehicles available in 2003. Very rare and sought after. Google "cornrelish fuelly" and you can see she averaged 36.4 mpg over the 48K miles she drove. Her best was a whopping 42.6 mpg. These are not pie-in-the-sky numbers, but real deal mileage she got with this very car. The car has had over $1,000 worth of recent maintenance work. NEW: tires, ball joints, tie rod, oxygen sensors, spark plugs, CVT transmission fluid.The HX has been in no major accidents while my wife has owned it, just two suicidal deer.
