Rare 1952 Ford Pickup / Rat Rod / Hot Rod / Project Truck Vintage This is a rare 1952 Ford F-1 Pickup in need of restoration which is underway. Currently a rolling chassis with a new front disc brake conversion completed, and a 351W engine long block with less than 26,000 miles on it. The engine was degreased, pan removed, inspected, all bolts torqued, new oil pump and gaskets and seals replaced, and engine painted. Has very little rust through and lots of nice patina. Rolls and steers (pictured steering column is no good). Original rear end was missing and we replaced it with one out of a 52 ford. Has a used C-6 automatic installed behind the 351W engine. This is a FORD on FORD build which bring more money and prestige at car shows. Both doors have new upper hinges, and have been repined, but need to be final aligned. The body is minimally bolted together (except for the bed) for easy disassembly for restoration. This would make a great Rat Rod / Hot Rod project, or an original restoration. Purchase this project and do all or some of the work yourself. We offer full restoration and customization services. We can do as little or as much of the work as you desire. We can do any conversions or customizations you want; everything from mustang II front ends, full frame conversion, or a complete frame off build. This truck is a good start to a great truck and we do many of these both in Chevy and Ford models and are fun to drive and take to car shows, not to mention a great investment. We offer a "pay as you go" restoration program where you can prepay for work that you might want in increments to be mutually determined, so that you can actually afford to build an investment and put your money in something that is tangible and something you can get your investment plus appreciation out of at a later date. Truck is mostly complete and has no rust through in the floor pan that we can find, but has two small bullet holes, or any other rust through for that matter, except for some around the windshield frame, but we have repaired far worse than present there. This is a solid truck for a great beginning to your next hot rod / restoration project. The manual trans shifts and clutch works. The condition of the engine has not been verified and does not run and is likely siezed. This would make a great Rat Rod, hot rod, or original restoration.
