This is a classic Pre WWII British sports car (steering wheel on the right) that was purchased by the current owner in 1970 from a Dr. Mike Lewis in Crown Point Indiana. The car is located in McCook Nebraska as it has been since. Any transportation costs would be the responsibility of the purchasing party. It was purchased in 1970 as a ’38 due to the fact that it has the ’38 rear end fenders on it. However, it has the 0678 chassis number on it, making it a ’36. We have the ’36 fenders in the garage if desired. MPJG original engine was rebuilt in 1993 · Balanced cam and crank shaft· New rear end differential and spider gears from “Pre War Parts” in England.· New pistons form “Pre War Parts” in England· Rings that complemented the re bore on the block.· Rebuilt water pump form “Abington Spares” in Massachusetts. For the past few months I have been the 3rd owner of this 1993 Ford Mustang LX convertible. I had purchased it with the thought of pulling it behind our motor home; but soon ran into complications on that issue. Instead of spending money on a trailer and such, I decided to sell it. Super, super nice Mustang; it has been stored inside for most, if not all of its 23 years of existence. I have a clear title in hand. This Mustang has less than 39,000 original miles on it. Everything, and I mean everything on this car works. The AC is ice cold and the top goes up and down flawlessly. The tires are near new with 1200 miles on them and it drives and rides great going down the highway. FLAWS: (1) Small ding upper right front fender; very hard to see. (2) Paint is worn or rubbed off right rear on car; see picture. (3) Small area where the stitching is loose on the rear window of the black convertible top. There are ‘You Tube’ videos of how to fix this issue on the internet...I will let the buyer decide how to do that. (4) Rubber seal on driver’s side door is worn; there is a new seal for this in the trunk. THE GOOD THINGS: Nice Mustang convertible with super low, original miles. Fun to drive with the 2.3 4 cylinder engine; they say it can knock down over 22 mpg on the highway. The paint appears to be in good shape with no indications that it has ever been in an accident. The car is nearly 23 years old; but the inside of the vehicle is nearly perfect. No scratches or worn areas; and I would say this vehicle has never been smoked in.
