Service and Inspection Report – Value Added: We brought this clean Volvo in for service and found that the prior owner had taken great care of the car.  It appears to have been regularly serviced and traded in about the time that you would normally do a major service on the vehicle. We stared by installing a NEW TIMING BELT, TENSIONER and IDLER PULLEY.  These are the major components of the timing belt system.  That’s done for you.  While doing timing belts, we replace spark plugs since it is a good time to freshen up everything on the engine.  We installed Denso® brand plugs so you won’t have to be concerned with that service, either. We changed the engine air filter and vacuumed the road debris that can accumulate in the air box. It appears that the prior owner had recently done an oil change and the oil looks clean. We also noted that the idler wheel on the serpentine belt was a bit noisy at startup (that’s the part that keeps the belt tensioned) so we replaced the idler wheel and bearing assembly. Moving along to the chassis, the front brakes were about half worn so we replaced front brake rotors and pads.  The rear brakes were about half worn too, so we replaced the rear pads. Moving along the outside of the vehicle, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear, and also on the headlight wipers. We finished up this vehicle be changing the cabin air filter.  It is a job that you want done every year and we’ve taken care of that for you. Service and Inspection Report – Value Added: We brought this clean Volvo in for service and found that the prior owner had taken great care of the car.  It appears to have been regularly serviced.   Since we could not verify the mileage for the last timing belt, we did the service.  Doing the job right, we installed NEW CAM SEALS, NEW VVT O-RINGS, NEW TIMING BELT, tensioner and idler wheel.  When we do timing belts, we replace the spark plugs and we installed a new set of Denso® brand plugs.  That’s a major service and it’s done for you!   Using our Snap-On Solus® diagnostic scanner, we noticed some shift solenoid codes which are common on the AW-55 transmission.  What happens is that the electronic shift solenoids stick and the shift quality is not as good as when new.  However, the transmissions in these vehicles can go a long time with service.  So, we replaced the electronic shift solenoids in the valve body and did a complete transmission fluid change using the correct Mobile 3309 fluid.  This procedure took care of the codes, and now shifts as designed.   Test driving the vehicle after the transmission service, we noticed a slight vibration at highway speeds under load.  That’s a sign of the drive axle needing service, so we replaced both front drive axles with remanufactured units.  No more vibration!   While changing the drive axles, we changed the top engine mount as well as the lower right.  Over time both are about ready for change at this mileage and we did both of them for you.    The prior owner had recently done an oil change and the service label indicates that the next oil change is at 149k miles.   On the chassis, we noted a noise from the front suspension and traced it down to the coil spring mount.  We pulled both struts and replaced the mounts and bearings for you – no more noise.   While we had the vehicle apart for service, we noted that the vehicle had close to new brakes, front and rear.   Moving along the outside of the vehicle, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear.   As we drove the vehicle, the climate control worked fine but we heard the occasional chirp noise from the blower motor.  So, yes we did, we replaced the blower motor so that you wouldn’t have to be bothered by the job.   We finished up this vehicle be changing the cabin air filter.  It is a job that you want done every year and we’ve taken care of that for you.   Shop around and then ADD IT UP!  Why buy one that needs work?  How much will that cost you in addition to the car itself?  The items that we serviced would easily cost you $4,500 if you did all of this after the sale.    You can always pay less.  Just click the “back” button and buy something else?  However, if you are looking for a better value, buy from Grove.  That’s the Grove Automotive Group, Inc. difference. This vehicle is riding on a BRAND NEW set of Continental® touring tires!   Service and Inspection Report – Value Added: I bought this vehicle from a Mercedes/Porsche dealer in Tampa Florida who has a network of premium dealerships across the country.  I was looking for one that was ultra clean and ready to drive.  This car was rated as a 5.0/5.0 and I bought it based upon the dealer’s representation.   I have been beyond pleased with this car.  I’ve driven it about 17k miles since purchase and it has been absolutely awesome to drive.  There is plenty of power on tap, more than you will ever use!  Like any vehicle that comes through my hands, it has been well maintained and in good order.   The CD player sometimes gave me trouble so I had a new “Command” unit installed by the local MB dealer.  My cost on the item was $1,600 but I wanted the navigation and sound system to be first class, just like Mercedes designed.   Over my course of ownership, all of the required maintenance has been done including a fresh oil/filter change using Mobile 1 synthetic oil as designated by MB, new dual air filters, new spark plugs, new front rotors, brake fluid change and new serpentine belt.    Finally, I installed a brand new set of Continental® touring tires to make the vehicle just right!   Shop around and then ADD IT UP!  Why buy one that needs work?  How much will that cost you in addition to the car itself?  The items that we serviced would easily cost you $3,500 if you did all of this after the sale.    You can always pay less.  Just click the “back” button and buy something else?  However, if you are looking for a better value, buy from Grove.  That’s the Grove Automotive Group, Inc. difference. This vehicle is riding on a BRAND NEW set of Uniroyal® Tiger Paw GTZ™ tires!   Service and Inspection Report – Value Added: We brought this clean Mercedes in for service and found that the prior owner had done the routine maintenance and kept the vehicle in good order.  However, we also found a list of parts that needed replaced that are common to Mercedes vehicles of this vintage.  When buying a Mercedes, like Ferrari or any other premium vehicle, the service history is important.  Now sit back and read what we have done to make your next vehicle convenient for you!    The vehicle’s oil was very clean and it has just been changed.  It appears that a professional shop did the service as the drain plug has the correct copper sealing washer and a mark on the drain plug indicating that it has been properly tightened.  We double-checked and it is all just fine.  The vehicle’s oil system keeps track of the oil level instead of a traditional dipstick.  A simple command on the steering wheel will give you an oil check before startup as desired.   These vehicles have an air induction system on each side of the engine and run dual air filters.  While we were under the hood, we removed the air filter box on top of the engine and changed both filters.    While checking for underhood items, we noted that there was enough vibration in the vehicle to justify replacing the hydraulic engine mounts.  This job requires the complete removal of the front exhaust system and while we were under the vehicle, we replaced the transmission mount, too.  The engine is now very smooth and isolated from the vehicle’s chassis just as Mercedes designed.   While we had things apart, we decided to install new Denso® brand spark plugs.  Mercedes designed the M113 engine to use two spark plugs per cylinder.  At this age and mileage, it’s time to install a fresh set.    Looking over the brakes, they were close to needing changed so we replaced brake rotors, pads and wear sensors front and rear.  The brakes are new all the way around and perform excellent!   Continuing on the chassis, we ordered and installed a BRAND NEW SET of Uniroyal® Tiger Paw GTZ™ performance tires illustrated in the listing.  We refuse to use no-name tires made in some third world country that will fall apart on you.  We use a quality name brand tire that is representative of our commitment to quality.  Most dealers would have looked the other way and said that the tires “look good” as they rub their chin and lie like a rug.   This model of Mercedes, their premium high-powered E-Class, has the AirMatic® air suspension system.  Looking over the vehicle, the front air struts have been replaced with Arnott Industries® air suspension units which are in my experience, better than OEM.  The rear air springs appeared original so we went ahead and replaced both rear air springs so that you would not have to wonder about them.  As we serviced the air suspension, we changed the air intake filter on the compressor which is a routine service item that hardly anyone knows to change.    While checking for burned out bulbs, we found that the low beam failure was due to a wiring fault inside the headlight assembly so we just replaced both headlight assemblies.  They are new and look great on the vehicle!   And finally, we installed new wiper blades.  Wow, that’s a lot of work but we are committed to making things right.   Shop around and then ADD IT UP!  Why buy one that needs work?  How much will that cost you in addition to the car itself?  The items that we serviced would easily cost you $5,500 if you did all of this after the sale.  Buy from Grove.  That’s the Grove Automotive Group, Inc. difference. Service and Inspection Report: We brought this very clean Volvo in for service and didn’t find a lot to do. The prior owner had taken very good care of the vehicle and the paint, interior and vehicle show very well. For starters, we did an oil/filter change using the correct Volvo sealing washer on the drain plug, along with a new engine cap oil seal. Volvo makes the maintenance very inexpensive on these vehicles by specifying convention oil. While we had the oil out, we noticed that the dipstick end was a little brittle so we installed an new engine oil dipstick. We also installed a new timing belt, seals, tensioner and idler so that you know that’s done. We install new spark plugs when we do timing belts. We use Denso® brand plugs which are original equipment on most Volvos. Moving along to the chassis, we found the brakes good, both front and rear. Turning out attention to the climate control, we checked the system and it operates as designed. We installed a new cabin air filter for you. Going around the vehicle, we replaced the LH lower tail light as it had a small crack and also installed new headlight wiper blades. Finishing up, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear. Service and Inspection Report: We brought this clean S60 into the shop for service and found things to be in very good order. We did go ahead and perform the major service items so you know that they have been done. For starters, we did an oil/filter change, installing a correct aluminum sealing washer on the drain plug. We also installed a new seal on the oil cap since the original had become hard and brittle. Volvo allows you to service the seal separately from the cap. Additionally, Volvo specifies conventional oil in these vehicles making your maintenance costs quite low. Since we had already removed most of the components and cleaned the engine, we decided to install a NEW TIMING BELT that included belt, tensioner and idler pulley. This vehicle was still wearing the original belt, so, as usual, we installed a new one for you. We always replace spark plugs using Denso™ brand when doing timing belts on Volvo vehicles and those are new, as well. Finishing up under the hood, we checked the air filter and vacuumed out the air intake box. Those tend to accumulate debris like leaves and sand, so we cleaned that out for you. Looking over the chassis, the front brakes were about half pad, so we installed new front pads for you. The rear pads look fine. Most dealers would have just “let ‘er go” but half pad is time for replacement in my book. Going over the climate control system, everything seemed to be in good order. We changed the cabin air filter for you. On the interior, the center tray that houses the cup holders was broken. We went ahead and installed a new assembly for you and that required us to remove the console to perform the repair. Most dealers would have just “let ‘er go” and talked about dogs or rhubarb pie to distract you from the broken console. Not us. Finishing up, we installed new wiper blades. Yet ANOTHER Clean Southern Ride! This vehicle is riding on a very good set of Goodyear tires! Service and Inspection Report: We brought this nice Corvette in for service and found a few things to do in order to make this car just right. The prior owner had kept the vehicle very clean and maintained, otherwise. We started by doing an oil/filter change using the correct Mobile 1® 5W-30 synthetic oil and a Delco oil filter. While under the vehicle we didn’t note anything else in need of attention. The air filter was in good order as was the remainder of the underhood items. With our Snap-On Solus® scanner, we moved our attention to the vehicle’s chassis systems, we found a few latent codes for both the ABS (anti-lock brake) and ride control systems that we serviced. The ABS module was replaced with a new GM component as the early Delphi unit is known to fail. The ABS is now code-free and as designed. This vehicle is equipped with GM’s ride control which allows the driver to choose between touring and sport suspension settings. It’s a sophisticated system that is now on most newer vehicles including premium brands. We detected a code related to the steering angle sensor and replaced that sensor for you, clearing the cause of the code. This procedure requires removal and installation of the steering column for changing the sensor. We did that for you! That system now works as designed, as well. The brakes looked good front and rear. We scanned the remainder of the vehicles systems and found them to be code-free. The vehicle’s battery appeared to be about six years old so we decided to install a new correct-rated battery for you! Finishing up, we noticed that the climate control was a little low on refrigerant so we topped up the system and added 2 oz of compressor oil to assure good lubrication. We do our own air conditioning service inhouse and hold a valid certification through MACS, unlike some other guys. Shop around and then ADD IT UP! Why buy one that needs work? We did a few things to make the car “just right”. For starters, we did an oil/filter change, since it appeared that the oil was a little low and in need of a change. While under the vehicle, we didn’t see anything else in need of service and it did appear that the vehicle has newer drive belts on the accessory drives. Since the Infinity has a chain-driven camshaft system, no timing belt service is necessary. Using our Snap-On Solus® diagnostic scanner, entered each of the vehicle systems and found them to be clear of codes. Looking over the chassis, the brakes looked good in the front but we installed new rotors and pads in the rear. Going over the climate control system, everything seemed to be in good order. We changed the cabin air filter for you. Finishing up, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear. Shop around and then ADD IT UP! Why buy one that needs work? We did a few things to make the car “just right”. For starters, we did an oil/filter change, installing a correct aluminum sealing washer on the drain plug. We also installed a new seal on the oil cap since the original had become hard and brittle. Volvo allows you to service the seal separately from the cap. Using our Snap-On Solus® diagnostic scanner, we noticed some shift solenoid codes which are common on the early AW-55 transmission. What happens is that the electronic shift solenoids stick and the shift quality is not as good as when new. However, the transmissions in these vehicles can go a long time with service. So, we replaced the electronic shift solenoids in the valve body and did a complete transmission fluid change using the correct Mobile 3309 fluid. This procedure took care of the codes, and now shifts as designed. While under the vehicle, we noticed that one of the motor mounts was soft so we replaced it. Most dealers would have “let ‘er go” but we don’t mind doing a little extra so you don’t have to. Finishing up under the hood, we checked the air filter and vacuumed out the air intake box. Those tend to accumulate debris like leaves and sand, so we cleaned that out for you. Looking over the chassis, the brakes looked good, both front and rear. Service and Inspection Report: We brought this nice XC70 in for service and found things in very good order. There were a few things in need of attention to bring it up to our standards. For starters, we did an oil/filter change, installing a correct aluminum sealing washer on the drain plug. We also installed a new seal on the oil cap since the original had become hard and brittle. Volvo allows you to service the seal separately from the cap. Continuing under the hood, we decided to install a NEW TIMING BELT that included belt, tensioner and idler pulley. We couldn’t determine if the belt had been changed, so, as usual, we installed a new one for you. We always replace spark plugs using Denso™ brand when doing timing belts on Volvo vehicles and those are new, as well. While servicing the timing belt, we noted that the lower outer motor mount was in need of replacement so we installed a new one. Those mounts are typically good for 10 years or so and rather than “let ‘er go” like most dealers, we put the new part in for you. Using our Snap-On Solus® diagnostic scanner, we noticed some shift solenoid codes which are common on the early AW-55 transmission. History This 1981 Buick Electra Limited 2 Door Coupe belonged to my late dad who purchased car in 1982. He passed away in 1983 and the vehicle was driven by brother for a few years. The vehicle eventually sat under carport at mother's home until 2006 when she passed away. I took vehicle and had it restored to original factory quality. The vehicle has a clear title. Also, vehicle has never been wrecked. Description This is a 1981 Buick Electra Limited Coupe with a half blue leather top. The engine I believe is a 5.01L, 307cid, V8, 4BBL with automatic transmission. The original mileage is 70,094. The Buick has 4 new 20" inch tires and rim purchased from Chico's Detail Shop in Alabaster, Alabama. The Tires, rims, and radio are the only extra modifications to vehicle. The low profile tire size is 245/35Z R20 95Y XL. The vehicle is garage kept and is only driven on the weekend to keep battery charged up. It also has a Pioneer Stereo system (Model#: DEH-P31200UB) with Memphis CAR speakers, amplifier and sub-woofer). The vehicle has all original interior such as seats. However, the headliner and carpet were replaced. The vehicle has been factory restored with all original factory parts except engine and transmission. This is the original engine and transmission that came in car. A complete maintenance refurbishment was done on vehicle in 2009 where all fluids, belts, and hoses were replaced along with A/C compressor, carburetor, fuel pump, radiator, Timing belt, expansion plugs, water pump, heater core, etc. I have all maintenance and repair invoices for inspection. Condition The vehicle is in good condition. However, there are a few minor issues. The gear position indicator on steering column doesn't work. Also, gas gauge not working properly. The car may also need front wheel balancing and alignment. Shipping/Handling The buyer is responsible for his/her own shipping arrangements.

While they were in there, one of the turbo boost hoses needed replacing so we serviced that, as well. Very clean 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII - car would be in the top 10% of all Mark VIIIs of this model year. V8 Intech 32-Valve engine. The air suspension is fine - it appears that the vehicle has been well serviced and the air suspension struts in the front appear to be Motorcraft replacements air struts. Drives and runs well. Aftermarket muffler in rear has been tastefully done and gives the car a nice sound. Let's talk!
