I am going to be honest with you, I own a Subaru impreza wagon, all it has is coilovers and rims and a nice look. The car is burning oil, I know that for a fact but at this point I am looking for a reliable car, Honda, Toyota, anything that runs and has low miles.
The car has about 120k miles on the swapped motor and about 216k on the body. It runs and drives fine just as long as you put oil in it every few days. I cant seem to figure out the problem but their is no knocks or anything. Overall its a great car, it has a rough start every morning, I think that's because it needs oil since I had to stop driving it. I know there must be someone out there who can bring it back to life and enjoy it, I just want a daily at this point. It shouldn't be a big problem since the problem started recently. Friend says it might be blown seals, something "simple" its just I am not good with engines. I know nothing. If worse comes to worse and no one buys it ill put the money in it and resell at a higher price, I just wanna see if anyone who knows their subarus will give it a fighting chance.
Its not the original motor, it has the 2.5 rs motor from a 96 legacy GT. If anyone could help me that would be great too, I just don't know what to do.
