HAVE ALL ORIGINAL PAPERWORK INCLUDING WINDOW SHEET, BUT UNFORTUNATELY BUILD SHEET IS MIA. TINY HOLE WAS POKED IN TOP YEARS AGO BY THE TREE THAT ALSO DAMAGED THE FRONT DRIVER FENDER. AS A RESULT WATER WAS TRAPPED IN HEADLINER BELOW ROOF AND WAS UN-NOTICED BY US FOR MANY YEARS. ONCE REALIZED WE RIPPED OUT HEADLINER TO DO DAMAGE CONTROL. INNER ROOF HAS MEDIUM PITTING THROUGHOUT BUT NO RUST THROUGH I SEE ANYWHERE. CAR ALSO HAS SMALL DENT ON PASSENGER REAR VALANCE WHERE MOM BACKED OVER A STUMP.I HAVE SE EMBLEMS FOR SAIL THAT ARE UNBROKEN IF I CAN FIND THEM, AND I HAVE A GOOD CHARGER EMBLEM FOR THE GLOVE BOX. I STARTED CAR TWICE A COUPLE DAYS AGO AND THEN IT DIED WHILE I WAS MOVING IT. THERE ARE SOME MELTED WIRES FROM A FIRE UNDER HOOD YEARS AGO THAT ARE PROBABLY PART OF THE PROBLEM. NOTHING MAJOR I AM SURE. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING IT RUNNING GOOD, BUT WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS AND ALL MY CURRENT TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES ARE GIVING ME TROUBLE! THAT OBVIOUSLY HAS TO TAKE PRIORITY OVER THE CHARGER. FREEZE PLUGS ARE RUSTED OUT ON THE BACK AND PASSENGER SIDE OF MOTOR BECAUSE IT IS LEAKING WATER. HAVE NOT CLIMBED UNDER TO BE POSITIVE, BUT I AM SURE THAT IS ALL IT IS. MOTOR WILL NEED PULLED AND THEM REPLACED. CAR WAS LAST LICENSED IN 1986, AND I HAVE BOTH THE ORIGINAL LICENSE PLATES FRONT ONE IS NICER THAN REAR. I ALSO HAVE A 73 CHARGER SHELL MISSING WHOLE FRONT CLIP THAT HAS A VERY SOLID ROOF STRUCTURE FOR AN ADDITIONAL PRICE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. IT IS A VERY RARE CAR IN THAT IT IS AN SE CAR WITH THE OPERA WINDOW DELETE. CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH ROLL DOWN QUARTER WINDOWS AND A HALO VINYL TOP. LIGHT GREEN METALLIC CAR WITH BLACK TOP. For Sale: My 1964 Shelby 289 FIA Cobra manufactured by Unique Motorcars. I bought this car 4 years ago and do not know the history before that. The gentleman that I bought it from didn't know much about the car. The car is in great condition and hasn't been abused. I've been over every nook and cranny and can find no evidence of damage small or large. The car is in great condition. I have spent the last 4 years restoring and bringing this car up to a high standard. The 1965 Ford 289 engine and 1965 Ford 4 speed top loader transmission was professionally built by Monkey Wrench Automotive in Bend, OR. Monkey Wrench is our local hot rod shop and does incredible work. Monkey Wench went though the entire car and found no problems or defects. The black paint is in great shape. On a scale from 1-10, it's a 9 with only a few small rock chips in the normal places. The leather seats are in great shape with a great patina. The carpets are good but are showing some wear. I replaced the dash and gauges. I bought the dash from Unique Motorcars. It has the cut out under the steering wheel for more leg room. I covered the dash in bull hide and installed all new Stewart Warner gauges laid out as they would have been on the original 1964 289 FIA cars. The car is equipped with 5 point racing harnesses for both the driver and passenger. I located and installed functional aluminum front brake ducts that were made to original specs. They were very difficult to find costing $500. The wheels are true knock off wheels and the knock off spinners appear to be magnesium with "HALIBRAND" printed on them. I don't know if the spinners are original but they look cool. The tires and wheels are in great condition with little wear. This car drives and looks great. You can drive down the highway at 70 mph with one hand on the wheel. It steers and tracks great. The engine runs and sounds fantastic. The transmission shifts crisp and smooth with the Hurst Competition Shifter. The car is very fast and handles very well in the corners. If you are looking for great car that will last you forever, this is it. But be prepared to have everyone ask you about the car. even those who know their Cobra's will ask is it a real Cobra. The car is equipped with:-1965 Ford 289 325 HP 11 to 1 compression ratio that runs great on pump gas-1965 Ford 4 Speed Top Loader transmission with Hurst Competition 4 speed shifter-Front Wilwood disc brakes and rear Jag inboard disc brakes-Adjustable front and rear coil springs-Jag IRS rear end-Holley 4 barrel carb-1965 Cobra aluminum intake manifold-1965 Cobra aluminum valve covers-Battery cut off switch mounted to the rear bulk head and rear mounted battery-Lucas replica headlights (Halogen)-Oil cooler with braided hoses, AN fittings, and a very rare Shelby remote oil filter assembly-Le Mans gas filler cap and aluminum splash shield-20 gal gas tank-True knock off wheels with Halibrand spinners This car is registered in Oregon as a 1964 Ford CN. the title is clear and in my possession. What you are bidding on is a very cool and rare 1946 Chevrolet 2 door Coupe Stylemaster. I would just like to start out by saying I am not only including pictures but a video of the car as well so that you can better see and understand what a beautiful vehicle you are looking at , bidding on or purchasing. The car was bought from a gentleman in Washington that pretty much just let it sit as it is after it broke down from a bad fuel pump at 44k original miles. Yes, that is right! 44,000 original Before, I purchased the car the guy installed an electronic fuel pump and started it up and drove it around the property just to show me it ran. But, after I got it home I saw the condition of all the wiring and started replacing the wiring and I pretty much finished wiring up the car before I ran out of time; everything except the head lights and a couple of tie ends under the dash. I also bought a brand new 12v battery for the car but I haven't bought the 6V to 12V conversion kit yet however they have them on Ebay for around $250 I haven't fired it up recently because of that and the brakes need to be gone threw to be road worthy. The gas tank was leaking when I bought the car so I bought a fuel cell and wired it up. Also, going with the car is a 1957 Chevy rear end and a late model three on the tree transmission with spare gears so now all you need is a drive shaft to make the car an open driveline ! That alone is worth $500-$1000. You also get all new wheel cylinders, master brake cylinder rebuilt kit, brake pads, drums, spare taillights because I also bought blue dot ones. There is honestly a ton of spare parts as you can see from the pictures and video tape. I also replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser, oil, oil filter, tail & parking lights. Oh ya I replaced the fuel pump! One of the most expensive things I bought for the car was last week I paid $465 on a new set of tires from Les Schwab in addition to the chrome Rims. Also if you chose to ship this automobile call around because I can usually find shippers cross country starting from $200all you have to do is be flexible with arrival/pick up & waiting. And of course I will help you or your tow company in any way I can by making my self available. You can also have the original rims that came with the car if you want. The sky is the limit with this car. It can be a father in son project building a Rat Rod, Hot Rod, Beater or Restomod. PS I also replaced the grille as you probably already know these grilles alone can go for between $750 to $1500 The only reason I`m getting rid of the car is because we are planning on moving in the somewhat near future.
