Its is a numbers matching car with the original engine. 21K on the professionally rebuilt engine. .002 over, balanced and blueprinted. Pulls strong! All new suspension, new spax shocks all 4 corners, new clutch, new brake calipers, rotors & pads, new brake booster, and all bushings throughout. (basically if it effected the way the car cornered, stopped or handled its been replaced. w/in the past 3 months) New VTO wheels and yokohama s drive tires. All of theses components where professionally restored by vintage restorations in Union Bridge MD over the past 3 months. Runs and drives perfectly. Its not in concourse condition. Body & Frame - 9 out of 10. No rust on the frame or floor pans. Exterior - 7 out of 10. Older "average" paint that looks good from 10 feet but its not perfect. Some surface bubbles starting to appear. See picsInterior - 8 out of 10. A very good interior with new door panels, good carpets and seats. Wooden dash is so-so and has some delimitation on the drivers side. If you're looking for a car you can buy and drive right now and later do the cosmetics to make it "perfect" this is the car. This 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne started life in the Oakland, CA plant and spent it's entire life in California prior to my purchase in late 2009. What started out as a 6 cylinder, three on the tree has now been updated to a professionally rebuilt Big Block with a rebuilt Muncie M20 4 speed. The car has new heavy duty springs to support the motor as well as fresh gas shocks and polyurethane bushings. Period correct interior and a mid to late sixties drag look. I have all receipts, dyno readings and block and head casting numbers.Professionally rebuilt 454, bored .030, block number 361959 with late '60's heads, number 3917215. New water pump, fuel pump, rebuilt carb, hydraulic roller cam, ceramic coated headers, new aluminum 3 core Champion radiator.Rebuilt Muncie M20 4 Speed (David's 4 Speeds)Rebuilt Hurst shifterNew power front disc brakesRebuilt suspension with heavy duty shocks, polyurethane bushings and gas shocks455 HP / 513 LB-FTMoon "Cheater" slicksOriginal style interior, white vinyl over red brocadeThis car is good, but not perfect. Solid frame and floors with some pinholes in the trunk floor. The stainless trim is a mix of original and items I had refurbished due to heavy dings and scratches. The windshield has some scratches from a point in time when the wipers were used without good rubber. New tachometer, water temp gauge. Car also has volt meter and oil pressure gauges. Speedometer, wipers, all lights and heater fan work, but as I only drive in good weather in the summer, I don't know if the defrost controls are fully operable. The paint appears to be a single stage lacquer that has been buffed through in some small areas, but still holds a good shine. There does appear to be some history of bodywork on the rockers and the lower rear quarters are starting to show some minor bubbling. The quarter glass in the doors also show some minor delimitation along the edges, but I have recently taken the the door skins off to service and lubricate the window tracks. In general, a strong running head turner with an awesome period correct look and full paperwork for all modifications since my time of ownership. 1968 Dodge Dart GTS, 383 turns heads wherever it goes. I bought this car in 2007 and have enjoyed the partial restoration. The block is period correct 8475 GTSs were produced in total for 1968. The breakdown is as follows: Hardtops: 5513 340 cars with majority being automatics with 4232 made, and 1281 4-speeds. 2112 383 GTS were produced with 1113 automatic and 991 4-speeds. For some reason, the production figures for this were based on percentage due to production figures not showing a "transmission" distribution! However, 1968 GTS Convertible production is precise with 315 340 GTS, and 271 of those were autos, and the balance of 44 4-speed cars made. The 383 GTS was the most rare with a 50-50 split. 40 automatics and 40 4-speeds were produced for the 1968 GTS model year! Asking $28,500.
