I am the third owner of this vehicle since 1951 and it was owned by the original owner for about 56 years. This runs and drives great and can be used for everday driving.This 4 door Plymouth Cranbrook has a 6 cyl. 217 inch cubic inch flathead 97 HP engine with a 3 speed standard on the column. The original bill of sale from 1951 is included and shows the vehicle ID # 12679483 and the Engine # P23 102595 in the photo. The original dealer is " Frankford Sales Company" from Philidelphia Pa.and their logo is mounted on the center of the trunk.This car appears to be ALL ORIGINAL with no repairs and is RUST FREE inside, outside,underneath and in the trunk.One of the trunk photos shows the original woven mat and the other shows it without the mat and the brownish color is NOT rust but a lighter portion of the heavy undercoating. There are no tears in the upholstery or headliner but they could use a cleaning. All of the lights are in working condition along with the directional signals. The white sidewall tires are also in excellent condition.The Passenger side front fender appears to have been repainted at one time. I purchased the used factory stock pushbutton radio but never did hook it up. The only problems I am aware of is that the gas gauge does not work and the front passenger door does not lock. I had a new float and new gas gauge installed but I think there is some sort of wiring problem. I have owned this car for 6 years and have only driven it 1800 miles. The novelty has worn off and it is time for it to move on to some one else. I put the key remote in my pocket and sat in another car to also move for the coming snow, I didn’t realizing that I triggered an unlock mode on the key remote when it was in my pocket and unlocked the car open the windows and sunroof, when I headed back into the house I look back at the car I realized that the windows were open, I went to the car put the windows up and did not look up at the sunroof to realize that it was open too. That night it snowed through the sunroof into the car creating a Snow mound on the front seats. I noticed the problem after it stopped snowing and vacuumed all the snow out immediately, no moisture was in the car at all. I called the insurance to report the incident to clean the interior instead they decided they would consider the car salvage, I bought the car back from the insurance comp. and now I need to pay some bills my Loss your gain. BUY with confidants the car is immaculate and has absolutely no issues.
