This car was recreated many years ago from the original V.I.N. tag and body tag which this car now wears. The original car was totaled in an accident. A low mile original, rust free car was used for the donor car. This car has most of it's original white paint. Some of the parts from the original car were installed. It is still rust free with exception to some very tiny bubbles starting over the left rear wheel. The engine is the correct WC code manual transmission W72 engine. The car runs and drives great. The car is in such original condition that the spare tire still has all of the original tags on it, and the one time that my grandpa took the Hard Top off during a car show, he looked down to check the condition of the soft top and it still had all of the original tags on it. It also has the original Windshield on it with the signature of Daimler-Benz. So when I say that this car is in Mint condition I really mean it! I just drove to Idaho and picked up this beautiful car from my Grandpa and it was so much fun driving it back here to Utah. It is such a fun little cruiser, I got so many waves and looks while I was driving it, it was just a fun experience. Honestly if I had the money I would keep this car in a heartbeat, but my Grandpa really wants a newer car that he won't worry about driving around as a daily driver and I'm really just trying to help him out.
