This is an X300 series, known to be among the most reliable. This model was only sold abroad so it's rare. It comes with a tight suspension, custom driver seat controls and 8" sport wheels. Front seat has a tear and leather seats are worn. Windows and locks aren't working but I have replacement regulators for 3 windows. Doors lock automatically when put in drive but don't seem to work individually. I also ordered AC expansion valve since AC blows but can't hold freon. Aside from a few cosmetics parts, car runs strong and doesn't smoke. Paint is fair and tires have good thread. Purchased new battery a few days ago. Selling as is. Thank you for looking. I have a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am restored with a new 455 engine (less than 800 miles) and an automatic transmission. It has a rebuilt and tuned 4 Barrel Quadra-jet carburetor. AC blows cold. Excellent paint. New interior. New tires. The rear tires are 295 15's to handle the 500 pounds of torque. The engine has above 400 hp. It's a beast and sounds great with its custom headers and straight pipe glass pack mufflers. I've owned it for 5 years. It originally came with a 301 V8 engine. I had the 455 V8 Professionally built and installed at a very qualified speed shop in San Antonio. I added a picture of it two days before it was installed. I decided to install the 455 for it to be different and so much better than stock Pontiac engines from the late 70's. All 1979 Trans Am's barely made it above 200 hp and I just couldn't have it with it's very poor original factory specifications. You will love this car! It looks great, sounds great, and runs great!
