Below is the rather impersonal description of this vehicle. But now ,I am going to share with you the current situation as it pertains to this Crown Victoria (for the first time I am realizing that the name, Crown Victoria, is a salute to the British Crown. Didn't our Forefathers fight for our freedom against the British? hmm curious. And, I might add, I wonder who we need to fight to get it back now.) I digress. I feel that you may get a better feel for this car and it's history if I speak in "point blank" language. So here goes.. My neighbor , Capn'. Jack, who has never served in the military, nor does he or has he ever, commanded a ship.,.yet still says "Call me Capn' Jack ",Is the owner of this fine car. Capn' Jack inherited the car.from his Uncle who , in his retirement years, was a ham radio operator, car collector,, active in the community, amateur astronomer and was an organized and detail oriented gentleman. Capn' Jack's ,Uncle Bill ,always wore crisp clean clothes, didn't drink., didn't smoke, always clean shaven, hair washed and combed, fingernails clean, teeth brushed, lawn mowed, bills paid on time, check book balanced and records kept. Capn' Jack should not own a car.Especially this one. This classic clean strong and beautiful car will end up like his pick-up truck ..thrashed. I am now going to return to his house and have him sign a contract so that I may take away the keys and get the car away from there so I can re-shoot the photos showing a full view of the car without seeing smashed beer cans on the ground.,, finger prints on the windows and he will not then use the car for beer runs. I ask the neighbor kid as I begrudgingly hand over a ten spot thinking how I am glad I didn't give him the car keys.)
