1979 MGB Roadster. It's a fabulous car. Prior owner purchased it in 2011 and did the following work:Replaced the rims with used rims, tires are nearly new.Front end aligned.Complete new paint job with original color.New interior seats, new carpet, new carpet in the trunk.New dashboard with new bezels around the instruments.Rebuilt carburetor.new radiator.New gas struts for the trunk & hood.Power windows, power locks, power antenna.New Sony stereo system plus an alarm system.The top is completely new dark brown Robbins cloth type.New battery.New brake master cylinder.New Pertronix flame thrower electronic distributor.Kill switch to battery for storageIt has a small oil leak…It is an MG. The electrical works well but occasionally the turn indicators don’t work. The prior owner said the backup lights didn’t work but I have not had that problem. Mildenberger Motors went thru the car during the winter months in 2013. They looked for and fixed any safety concerns.At some point in the future it will need tie rods.I have a copy of all of the prior owners receipts and when the work was done. I bought it from him in 2013 and had it shipped to Montana from the Bay area of California at a cost of approx $1100. It is a blast to drive!!!! I have always loved MG’s, had one during my college years. This one is a beauty. The prior owner kept it garaged and I have done the same. Selling because my husband doesn’t fit well in it and we like going places together. Have replaced it with a different convertible. Carpet is immaculate. Leather seats are very clean Mounted/ wired radar detector Wired for GPS unit. Put aside the fact it’s a beautiful truck, this is one GOOD truck. I have had nothing but good things to say about these Duramax’s. This is my second one and I’ve had really good luck with them. Since I’ve owned this truck, I’ve only had 2 issues with it. 1. A sensor went out that affected the trailer brakes (Dealer did replacement). 2. When very cold in the winter it is sluggish starting. Doesn’t seem like a cold block thing because it has a block heater but more of a battery issue. That’s the only time the batteries have given me trouble. It’s a diesel and everyone tells me that’s normal in the winters. I haven’t pulled many heavy loads with this truck, just a 2,500 mile drive from the east coast with a 16’ enclosed trailer. As far as hauling goes this truck is “fresh”. Bad: Tires are worn and will need to be replaced soon. Small 6” crack in the leather on the side of the drivers seat. Some of the paint on the A/C button is chipping off. 2 small door dents from the parking lot on the passenger door. A few scratches here and there (it’s a truck). I’m Asking $31,000 OBO.
