Put aside the fact it’s a beautiful truck, this is one GOOD truck. I have had nothing but good things to say about these Duramax’s. This is my second one and I’ve had really good luck with them. Since I’ve owned this truck, I’ve only had 2 issues with it. 1. A sensor went out that affected the trailer brakes (Dealer did replacement). 2. When very cold in the winter it is sluggish starting. Doesn’t seem like a cold block thing because it has a block heater but more of a battery issue. That’s the only time the batteries have given me trouble. It’s a diesel and everyone tells me that’s normal in the winters.
I haven’t pulled many heavy loads with this truck, just a 2,500 mile drive from the east coast with a 16’ enclosed trailer. As far as hauling goes this truck is “fresh”.
Bad:
Tires are worn and will need to be replaced soon.
Small 6” crack in the leather on the side of the drivers seat.
Some of the paint on the A/C button is chipping off.
2 small door dents from the parking lot on the passenger door.
A few scratches here and there (it’s a truck).
