You Have To See This Fully Restored Beautiful 62 Ford F100 Unibody!!! These are getting very hard to find and this one is a Real Sleeper - Very Quick and with the Thumper Cam, it sounds and Feels Very Radical !!! This truck has most of the original parts as they were in good shape. The 429 engine, C-6 automatic transmission, Floor Shifter, Wheels, and Carpet were not stock to this truck. Exterior Mirrors are aftermarkets. You see by the pictures, this truck is nice top and bottom, restored on a rotisserie, painted with a 2 stage Urethane Paint with PPG Clear Coat - sanded and buffed. The 429 motor is rebuilt - bored out with new pistons, rods, bearings, Thumper Cam, Edelbrock manifold with a 600 Holley, and runs awesome!! Still breaking in the motor. Heads are '68's with small chambers and stud rockers. (similar to D0VE Heads) The C-6 Automatic was rebuilt and has a 2500 stall converter. The front Tie Rod ends and Spring Bushings were replaced as were all four complete brakes. The Bumper and Grille are rechromed and look brilliant!! All of the emblems and Ford Letters are the original and were buffed out. All window rubber and door weather-strip is new. Underside frame was blasted, sanded, covered with two coats of POR 15, and painted Satin Black. THE VALUE ON NADA LIST THIS TRUCK AT $27,800 - BUY THIS ONE AND YOU'RE GETTING IT FOR MUCH LESS AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE WORTH MUCH MORE !!! You Must See this Gorgeous 1 of 40 - 1967 Ford Fairlane GTA - Serial #7H42C****** which translates as 7(1967)H(Built in Lorain)42(Fairlane GT 2 Door Hardtop)C(289 V8) and the rest of the six numbers are ID numbers. Yes, Small Block V8 GTA's exists, and some can be rarer than Big Blocks and Harder to Find. Marti Report (which I have), Hemmings, and Ford Motor all recognize these cars. Rotisserie Restored using most of the Refurbished Factory Parts and it runs and drives great!!! The original Engine was a 289 from the Factory, and I have it on a stand to be purchased with the car at an additional cost. In it's place is a '87 302 HO Roller Cam Engine - original C4 Transmission and 2.79 Rear Axle is still in the car. The car is painted in the original Wimbledon White - done in a urethane Base Coat and a urethane Clear Coat, cut and buffed to a beautiful Gloss finish. Most all of the Chrome and Badges were buffed and reinstalled. The Bumpers were re-chromed. The rubber and fuzzy was replaced on the windows. Air shocks were installed on the rear for aesthetics and stability. Factory AM Radio doesn't work, but a JVC AM/FM/CD is suspended in the glove box area for you enjoyment, with two deck speakers. The Interior consist of all New Covers and the Front Seats received New Foam also. The Headliner is New along with the Carpet and Trunk Liner. The 302 HO Roller Cam Engine in the car was Rebuilt by a local engine shop and was bored to receive New Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Crank, and was topped off with a High Performance Intake and a Holley 600. It has less than 500 miles on it since the rebuild, and it runs Great!!! The C4 transmission received a Rebuild also, and shifts and operates as it should with no problems. The car body was taken down to Bare Metal - made any needed Body Corrections (no accidents - nothing major), primed with High Build Urethane Primer, Block Sanded, and Painted - that is why it looks so straight, because it is. This is a very nice car to drive and it runs great. It has been taken to several shows and has placed in most. It has never been rained on since the Restoration!!! It gets started and driven periodically to keep it fresh and lubed. It will definitely be noticed where ever you go, and is not seen as much as most 60's muscle cars. There are thousands of Mustangs and Camaros, but go to a Car Show with this, and there are not many Fairlanes. I purchased this car from the original owner and her father was a mechanic, and it shows that it was well maintained before I bought the car. Gas gauge works intermittently - seems like a loose wire at the new sending unit - the wiper motor stopped working but a new one goes with the car.
