RESERVE HAS BEEN LOWERED You are bidding on a 1971 Monte Carlo Orginal Surivor Black w/white vinyl top tan interior 350/350 TH. The orginal engine was rebuilt about 10 to 15 thousand miles ago by the orginal owner. We purchased the car from the second owner. The car has been registered and driven consitently in the warmer months since new. Has been garage kept almost all of it's life. It has no visible rot or serious rust showing anywhere on the body or on the frame. There is no rot in the floors or in the trunk. The car has power steering, brakes, windows and has orginal factory rally wheels with the trim rings and center caps. The car is currently registered and titled . It starts, runs and drives like it did in 1971. We believe the paint is orginal to the car and the car appears not to have had any serious damage. There are a couple of blisters showing on the rear quarter panels around the wheel well on the drivers side and on the passenger side on the dog leg. Has four good radial tires. AM/FM stereo, cd player, alarm system. This is a great entry level /antique/collectible for a reasonable price that you can still drive and take your family out in and bring to another level if you want to while being able to use it. First generation Monte Carlo 1970,1971,1972 are the most valued of all. This car could easly be a 15 to 20,000.00 in the future and the reserve is no where near that.
