Economical, dependable transportation. This 1997 Ford Ranger Splash is driven daily and has no current mechanical issues, including COLD AC. The paint is faded and oxidized on the hood, roof and tonneau cover but the body is solid and rust free. It has a one year old Pioneer stereo with bluetooth connectivity, hands free phone and USB port for charging or IPod/IPhone connection. All 4 speakers are also new. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and a 1.3 Liter 4 cylinder engine and has a frame mounted 2" receiver hitch. There is a full sized spare tire under the bed. 2 tires have decent tread and 2 are nearing the point where they should be replaced. I have driven at least once a month to VA and back (~600 miles round-trip) over the last year with no issues whatsoever. This truck is basic with manual windows and no cruise control.

It's a 2 door coupe GS, automatic, with sunroof, a/c, auto window and locks, automatic transmission with power shifter thing, factory stereo, 192212 miles on it (most all are highway miles), new tires. It has been my daily use car, I have been commuting with it to work round trip 3 hours everyday. It has always started, every time. It's a very reliable car and I REALLY wish I didn't have to sell it. Interior is above average, with signs of wear and use, with tiny fiddliebits here and there missing - the top of that middle console is off, but I still have it if you want it. It would probably run forever, it seems pretty bulletproof and is a great car. Issues: Top clear coat is peeling in places. Driver's side window needs manual help to roll up, it will go up and then stop and you kinda need to pull it the rest of the way. Weak motor?Had a small leak in the radiator, which I have sealed up (I was going to get it fixed when I had $$)Check Engine Light is on, but has been on since I got it five years ago, and I think it just needs to be reset.Might be an O2 sensor. Needs shock absorbers I'm told. I drive it and really didn't notice.Middle console thing has the top broken off. Still have the top.Small bits of things like the side cover for that triangle part of the window are gone. Just little fiddliebit pieces.Key fob needs new battery.And the car could use a cleaning and a tune up.Pros: VERY reliable. This has been an excellent SUV and is in Top Notch shape. Never wrecked no paint I am very particular and I would say that this auto would be considered on a 1 to 10 scale a 9.85. It has always been serviced at Lexus, kept out of the sun and washed weekly. I clean doorjambs as well and under the hood and hatch. Only 75k miles. My wife has put most of the miles on it. Its a hard to find 82 Firebird S/E By the research i did with block and casting nums its a 4 bolt main 350 that was manufactured dec 19, 1979 at flint plant for a 80 model truck. It has a holly 600 carb and edelbrock intake. Motor is clean inside and not gunked up. There has been alot done to this car, listed below. brake system has been rebuilt, new rear wheel cylinders, hardware and shoes, front brake hoses, rebuilt calipers and new pads, new master cylinder to. NEW: shocks & struts, poly suspension rubbers, starter, alternator, thermostat and gasket, valve cover gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets waterpump gasket, carb base gasket, trans mount, complete tune up, new rubber fuel lines, hatch and hood lift shocks, both power window motors, door cylinder locks. Custom int with new headliner. Has good tires. The only thing it needs is a temp gauge hooked up and paint job, does have a couple minor ding but no rust that i have seen. car runs good, pop up headlights work Hood scoop is functional, doors open and shut good.
