For sale I have my 1997 BMW Z3 1.9L Roadster convertible. This car is in great shape for the year, and is mechanically sound with no known issues. Runs great. Its been a fun car to zip around in on nice summer days. There are a few nicks and dings from the last owner, but nothing you can obviously see from afar. He covered the chips with touch-up, so unless you are very close and looking for them, you wont notice. Mechanically, I cant say there is anything wrong with it. I havent had any issues with it other than replacing a plastic pump line that cost me $28. Its got a 1.9L engine with 106K miles, and a 5 speed manual transmission. AM/FM Radio WITH TAPE DECK! Yep... a TAPE DECK. Ill even throw in one jazz mix tape. Only known issues with the car is the driver seat it getting worn (see pics) and the convertible top WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. It is literally torn to hell from dry-rotting from being in the down position for so long, and not being used. You can get a new cloth top on ebay for $230. If you are like me and only drive it on nice days, then it wont matter. After all, there is no point in having a convertible to drive around with the top up. Hate to see it go, but I want to do some work around the house before the winter and could use the extra cash. Asking $5,700. Its a good reliable car, and runs great.
