This is a GM of Canada Canadian model 59 Chevrolet. Theres no real differences between this and the U.S. made 59's with the exception of the I.D. tags. 4900 miles on engine rebuild, transmission rebuild (4spd Saginaw) and differential rebuild (3.70 gears). 1959 passenger car date code 283 block, .030 over, Comp Cams Hi Energy 268/454 cam, Edelbrock carb, Mallory Unilite distributor, double hump heads with stainless 1.94/1.5 valves, Z28 HD springs. This car runs out quite well. Tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Religned fuel tank with new sending unit. "New" (reissue) GM Corvette 2-1/2" dump ram horn exhaust manifolds, one manifold needs one of its studs repaired. Aluminized dual exhaust with 24" glass packs at time of engine rebuild. Factory "California" bumpers. Nice grille. Factory AM push button radio, does work, radio antennae is inside the car and was only removed so that the car could be completely tarped when outside, otherwise this car has always been garaged. Clean Missouri title in my name. Was originally a 6cyl 3spd car. Windshield is cracked all other glass is good. I believe most of the paint is the original Roman Red/Snowcrest White. Does need some of the floorboards replaced. Someone many years ago put a large patch panel in the trunk floor. There is some body filler in the rear drivers side fender and fin area.
