This is a 1969 Jeep CJ-5 that has had a complete "frame up" restoration, Fully Restored w/Many Upgrades. Rebuilt 4.3L V6 engine with approximately 33K miles & transmission. Engine was installed by previous owner but then carefully cleaned, tuned, and rebuilt by current owner. Runs flawlessly. Rebuilt heavy duty 4WD truck transmission with "granny" first gear, four speeds with overdrive, and high/low gear splitter to allow car to be run between gears. "Aussie Locker" off road differential brake system. Exterior burnt reddish orange paint job is in good condition. Some scuffs from normal wear & tear but overall very presentable and not in need of any work.
Fully lifted Rancho independent suspension with front end Dana 44 & rear end Dana 30 axles. , and Runs/looks superb. Overall just an incredibly fun and cool vehicle that's been painstakingly restored, runs like a champ and looks even better. This is a Show Car that is also ready and perfect for off-roading, rock crawling, camping, hunting, and just touring around town. This is a civilian model vehicle derived from the military Jeep used by U.S. armed forces in the Korean War. Dozens of custom upgrades and improvements.
Custom off road bumpers front and back. Special mount in back for two brand new 5-gallon "jerry cans". New aluminum wheels & all weather truck tires, including brand new wheel & tire for spare. Full roll cage and power-coated frame. Six-month-old battery with connection and separate inverter for trickle charging during extended storage periods. Aluminum intake manifolds and aluminum radiator. Brand new muffler and exhaust. Re-upholstered seats with newly installed 3-point seat belts. Brand new soft top configurable for full enclosure in bad weather, removable in spring & summer, and safari top for all other times in between. Brand new custom padding around all exposed soft top and roll cage bars. Assorted cup holders, fire extinguisher and flashlight mounts, sunglass holders, and interior lighting mounted to roll bars and padding. Brand new removable tubular doors above new "nerf" style step up bars. Electric front winch and highlift jack mounted within front bumper. New electric heating unit mounted under center of front dash. Pioneer AM/FM/CD Radio with Bluetooth connectivity to external music sources such as iPhone's and iPods, as well wireless remote control mounted on velcro near steering wheel. Forty-channel Cobra CB Radio mounted underneath. Brand new Kenwood speakers mounted in front dash.
