1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Outstanding Cougar Convertible. Fully equipped 351 Cleveland engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning and power steering and power brakes. Looks great and drives great. We have the history on this Cougar for the last five years. Sometime in the past it has had a front clip installed and is much nicer looking than a 1972 Cougar. This is a 42 year old vehicle that runs strong with a 351 Cleveland engine and can be driven anywhere. Marti Report on order. Matching set of New Douglas tires 215 X 70 X 15. Factory style steel wheels with spinners. Paint is good and power top is good. Bucket seats with console. 6,000 RPM tachometer. 120 MPH speedometer. Non working after market Sony radio. Padded dash is good, interior is very nice with seat belts. The rear corners of the rear seat have a place for the seat belts. Dual outside mirrors, left is remote. Bumpers and chrome are good. Chrome bumper guards. New dual exhaust, accessory luggage rack on trunk, good power top works well. Good back glass. 351 Cleveland engine, sounds very nice and runs very well. This convertible can be driven anywhere. Power steering, power brakes and working air conditioning. Fan shroud. This is an upgraded Mustang at half the cost. Excellent quality.
