1967 FORD F100 RANGER SHORT BED. NEW PAINT , 3 SPEED IN FLOOR, BUCKET SEATS, TRUCK RUNS GREAT AND LOOKS VERY GOOD. THIS IS NOT A RESTORED EDITION BUT IS VERY NICE. I WOULD DRIVE THIS TRUCK ACROSS COUNTRY. MOTOR HAS BEEN REBUILT, AND TRUCK SOUNDS LIKE A BEAST. IT IS A REAL HEAD TURNER AND A LOT OF FUN TO DRIVE, DOES NOT HAVE POWER STEERING BUT ALSO HAS NO PLAY IN THE STEERING. HAS NO RATTLES AND OTHER NOISES. THIS TRUCK IS BETTER THAN MOST.

For starters I did the AutoCheck Vehicle History Report and everything checks out fine. This is a tribute Dale Earnhardt #3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This car is a 1985 but the 1st year that it was the black Goodwrench #3 was 1988, not an exact replica. I have had this car for about 15 years and it started life as a standard light blue Monte Carlo. I started collecting the parts to build it including the Goodwrench and #3 decals purchased from Richard Childress Racing and the 15x8 American Racing wheels with P255-60-15 Goodyear yellow lettered Nascar street tires. Lots of new parts like weatherstriping, exhaust tail pipe and muffler, windshield, radiator, water pump, and others, many GM NOS parts like the front nose and emblem, trim and other parts. I went to many North Carolina racing museums to look at the way the racing Monte Carlo's from this time looked so I could get the rear spoiler, decals, wire mesh and other details close. The cars back then weren't as slick and finely done as the cars are now, so I went with a low tech paint job, not a show car super nice one. This was not a rusty car, it has a good body. It was taken apart were needed, detailed and cleaned when going back together. The car was painted and decaled 13 years ago and has always been garaged. It still looks like it did then, nice shine and the decals still have great color, a very few light scratches from being used and enjoyed all these years, lots of car shows and other events. The interior is the factory blue 60/40 seats with homemade black seat covers. The rest of blue interior was prepped correctly, dyed black, and has held up well for 13 years. A few pieces are orange like the #3 color of the interior but I didn't want it all that color. The electric windows, locks, remote release trunk work. All the gauges work but the stem came loose from the clock and you can't set it. The stock AM FM works, but the tuner is dirty and sometimes cuts out, I have never used the cassette. The lights, turn signals, wipers and horn work but the horn button is mounted on an actual Nascar steering wheel. The dash was signed last year by RCR and Dale Earnhardt's fuel man Danny "Chocolate" Myers. The Simpson seat belts and net are not bolted in and are for show only. It still has the stock front seat belts. No headliner or dome lamp in car. The engine is the original fuel injected 4.3 V-6 and 3 speed automatic trans, does good on gas and I drive it on the highway a lot going to car shows. The A/C did work but it has a super slow leak that took a few years to get to the point it would not kick on at all, and I didn't have any R-12. Everything under the hood is stock and factory. The engine does leak 4-6 drips when it sets and it does let out a puff of smoke on cold start. Good oil pressure, runs cool and charges like it should. The battery is just a couple years old and the car starts great with the fuel injection. The car has 198,000 miles but a ton of them are highway from the guy I bought it from, but less than 5000 miles since it was painted. The springs on the rear are clamped down and the fronts were heated to lower it. I know it's not the right way but it has a few thousand miles driven like this and cruises the highway good. The front tire rubs a little at full lock turn. This car has the F-41 rear sway bar from the factory. The brakes just started squeaking the wear indicators. It has single exhaust with a stock muffler and hidden tail pipe, the side pipes you see are not hooked up. I wanted to do more to the interior and put a V-8 and 4 speed in it but just never got everything together to finish the plan. I have been honest about the car's condition, trying to tell you everything the car does, and I would rather you be happy it's better than I said than disappointed. This car gets driven to events and does well. It's not fast or a hot rod but looks like one. I have had a great time with this car, so many people have taken their picture with it. It does have a clear North Carolina title in my name. The North Carolina plate on the rear does not go with the car. I do have some parts that didn't get put back on for the interior and a few extra items. If you have 0 Feedback don't bid, I have had trouble with non payment with 0's. If your picking it up I live 1 1/2 hours from Charlotte Motor Speedway. I would rather it picked up but you can arrange and pay for shipping. $500 deposit in Pay Pal at end of auction, the rest can be Cashiers Check or cash 1 week after auction ends, no Money Orders. Selling only in USA. Please ask any questions. Thank You.
