NEW LOWER BUY IT NOW PRICE! New pics uploaded. JUST TOOK IT FOR A RIDE AND MADE A VIDEO. Please contact me. This is my Mercedes Unimog 406 for sale. The truck is in Cannada and can easily be exported to Canada. Beige paint is solid, shiny without any rust. It has a 6 speed manual transmission, front and rear PTOs, auxiliary hydraulic outlets and a Euro style trailer socket. The truck has a 3 way dumping box and everything is operational. Odometer showing 20,000KM. I do not know if this is original. It maybe be 120,000KM or it maybe the mileage since restoration. Anyways the condition shows this truck was not abused. GOOD POINTS:-100% original-Body and frame are really good looking. It shows this truck was restored correctly.-New Euro spec Industrial battery 250$-Engines sounds good-I have many manuals and original European paper work. Back there the truck was inspected each year as part of their local safety rules.-Truck has new lights all around-The hydraulic 3 way tilting bed is working like a charm-Has PTO in front and back, has hydraulic outputs, has trailer coupling (not sure how to operate all these)-Has decent matching continental tires (from 60 to 30% thread remaining) (I will post more pictures of the tires if needed), no spare. NOT SO GOOD- Starter was not working right recently, I think it is ok now, it had a loose wire. We had it out for a quick video with the kids and it started ok. I was planning to upgrade to a newly available gear reduction starter for faster spin (vonsmog.com) - All gauge and all electrical things are working, but all wiring seem original to me. I was planning to upgrade that. This is a very simple truck on the electrical side (no chips, no CPU, no ECM....)- Small hydraulic oil leak at on the rear HISTORY I bought this clean restored truck while traveling to Europe 1.5 years ago. I just could not resist when I saw that cute truck. I knew nothing then about these super great machines beside seeing them in 4x4 magazines. I got it registered as a utility tractor and therefore is much cheaper to insure and register. Please check your local regulations. I must say, that due to my limited time as a business owner, I did not used the truck much. It was always in a heated garage. Unlike my Defender and Volvo trucks that are also for sale, the Unimog 406 is not the kind of truck you drive to go to the grocery store. It is much more happy in the field.. NO TEST DRIVE BEFORE ACCEPTED OFFER (100$ DEPOSIT NEEDED). Would help you with shipping and export to USA or else where. I'm willing to work with you if your are serious. No time waster please. This truck is not for just anyone.I hope this truck will find a good home and a good owner to take real good care.Canadian buyers to pay sales taxes (GST, PST, HST) depending on your Province. The truck is registered in my business' name.100$ non-refundable in cash or paypal required to hold it for 10 days. Would keep in inside storage 2 weeks once paid for.I have a ramp to load on a truck or into a container. No time waster please.

UPDATE Aug 12th: Last weekend we went on a 3 hour trip. The truck is alright on the hwy at 95KM/H (about 55MPH). It starts right away, does not overheat, I would not mind driving this truck for 5-6 hours to bring it back home on it's own power. Here for sale my Volvo TGB11 (military version of famous Paris-Dakar winner Volvo C303), also similar to Steyr Puch Pinzgauer and forward control Jeeps and Land Rover. The Volvo is rare compared to the Pinz and is Water cooled with a Million miles B30 engine (6cyl version of the B20). The most imporat feature of the Volvos is the portal axle system with vacumm lockers. The axles alone are selling for the price of a truck. Anyway you probably know all this stuff if you are into Euro trucks... Not a rust bucket at all like most, not a project truck. In perfect original condition. No rust on body and frame. New aluzinc body replaced by Swedish army at high cost. Very good mechanical condition. Had local safety inspection. Is currently plated, insured and used weekly when the weather is nice in summer. Never been in salt. Starts easily in any weather. Test drive on accepted offer only. Reluctantly selling my Euro truck collection only to finance a major business project. I'm also selling my Euro spec 1994 civilian defender 110 (300TDI LEFT HAND DRIVE blue 4 doors) and Unimog 406. More pictures and details by email., or see my other ads on ebay.ca. No rust at all. Some military paint is missing and showing the red primer under. There is no rust on the body at all. I just added pictures showing the missing military paint, you can see red/brown primer. This is not rust, the body is alu-zinc, won't rust. GOOD POINTS:-75000 original KM (about 45,000 miles)-in Canada for last 3 years, adult owned, good condition, never been abused, kept in heated garage all the time-2 new big truck batteries(24 volt system), starts easily, brake system serviced, good over all condition-transfer case and transmission are perfect.-engines is working fine, a tune up would not hurt for top performance-portal axles, lockers and vacuum system is working well-no surprise, not a project truck, ready to go-99.999% original (only the flasher arm was replaced with an hot rod style one to pass a safety inspection)Please note: people take pictures of the truck when ever fueling or parked at the grocery store, ladies just can't stop talking to you when picking up a coffee in the morning, truck drivers at a truck stop will gather around, kids will stop their bike to look at you.. this truck has got me a lot more attention then I wanted, be prepare to a lot of questions. If you have a small business, just park it in front and watch people stop by. If you do not have a business, you may want to rent it to any tire shop, tool store, car part store, hunting and fishing supply store... NOT SO PERFECT THINGS:-Plexiglas windows may need replacement (rear trunk and two side ones, easy to do). Two rear side plastic windows are a little fuzzy, rear plastic window has a crack. You may as well kept these like that if you have no passengers. All 6 front glass windows, including the two windshields are perfect, no chips or cracks.-Small leak at rear engine main seal (too small to fix, unless you want to make it perfect) that part is easy to find from a Volvo 164. I could have skip that one, it's only a few drops after sitting for a week. No other leak.-Fuel gauge not working (probably just a wire to check). It was working before I replaced the flasher arm 3 years ago.-No door keys.-I find the front leaf springs a little soft, I cannot say if this is normal, I have never driven an other one.-5 pcs military tires on original rims, the 4 mounted ones have about 30-50% thread left, these are HD military tires, you may drive for an other 3000 miles and go home with confidence. One of them is like new and I keep it as the spare tire. See below I have a set of new tires included only at Buy it now price. You need to change the tires only for maximum off-road traction and for noise reduction and ride comfort. I never got stuck with this truck in 3 year of local light off-roading with the family on board. (I did rescue Jeeps and Samurais). NEW TIRES AND ALL SPARE PARTS INCLUDED ONLY AT BUY IT NOW PRICE: -4pcs LT315/75R-16 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac (brand new never installed)-some spare wheel cylinders, one complete brake shoe set (the current brakes are fine), spare CV boots, various 24volt relays, bulbs and Euro fuses. I hope this truck will find a good home and a good owner to take real good care.Would help with shipping and export if needed. Canadian buyers to pay sales taxes (GST, PST, HST) depending on your Province. The truck is registered in my business' name.100$ non-refundable in cash or paypal required to hold it for 10 days. Would keep in inside storage 2 weeks once paid for.Not the ideal freeway truck. Would do 55mph. I suggest picking up with a trailer or ship on a flatbed if you live more than 2-3 hours away. I have a ramp to load on a truck or into a container.USA buyers: You may pick-up the car here with a Uhaul trailer and tow it back home (or drive it back home if you are in VT or upstate NY). The custom duty rate to pay at the border is 2.5% of the invoice. If you cannot pick-up and cross the border, you need to hire a custom broker (about 100$) and a car carrier (about 1000 to 3000$ I would guess depending on location). See uship.com.Please ask your wife before buying it!!!

My kids and I will be sad to see it go. Would like to see it go to a tender loving Canadian family or farm... It would make a nice advertisement platform for a small business owner or a nice expedition truck! This is an original Euro specs 1994 Land Rover Defender 110 TDI. It is the left hand drive version (the correct side for Canada and USA). Has a strong running diesel engine, no leaks. It's the base model with manual windows, 5 speed manual transmission, no A/C. Has a pop-up sunroof. Has been garage kept since I own it. I imported it myself from Europe. I was planning to restore it completely. - 300TDI Engine starts easily. 5 speed manual transmission and transfer case shift as it should. - The engine bay is very clean, has no weird noise, no fume, nothing is loose. Very clean. - Drives straight. Easily reach 115KM on Highway (probably more but I never tried). No vibration, no problems with suspension and steering. - 5 nice matching Michelin tires in good condition! - All lights and gauges are working. Battery was changed 2 years ago. - The seats are clean, the fabric is nice. All seats and seat belts are functional. No rips, no stains. Carpets do have some wear. The headliner is kind of loose and needs cleaning. - The roof top shows like it should be reseal. I never took the time to do it since I never used the truck in bad weather. Always garage kept. - I have a spare rear bumper and frame assembly, that was given to me by the previous owner. I do not think it should be replaced as it involves some cutting and welding on the frame. But would give this part to you if you want it. - The truck has some rust (like around doors). A lot less than most Canadian SUV of that year. Nothing is major to me. But would benefit from a complete restoration. The body is mostly aluminium so no rust there. Very solid truck overall. - The rear bumper just restored. The old rusty bumper was recap with a plate of steel to pass the local safety inspection. - I have a spare rear bumper and frame assembly, that was given to me by the previous owner. I do not think it should be replaced as it involves some cutting and welding on the frame. But would give this part to you if you want it. - It shown no sign of any prior accident. All serial numbers are matching. This is an honest original truck. - The blue paint is faded. Would be nice to have it painted (graphic wrap maybe?) - This is not a new truck, but I would drive it right away across the country. - Currently, I do not have much time for these trucks. Only issue: Low/High bean are not working. Side markers are not working. These are all on the same relay I believe so it is probably just a relay. All these were working 1 year ago when the truck got safety inspected. My plan was to use this truck as a daily driver for the next 5 years and then restore it with a new galvanized frame from UK. I have about 25 pictures and two videos to show on request. Reason to sell: I'm selling all my trucks to finance a business project. I do not want to loose time with un-serious people. Test drive upon accepted offer only. 100$ paypal deposit with 24h. I know what it is to buy a car sight unseen. If you are located away and really need a truck like this one, please note I would refund your deposit if not completely satisfied upon seeing the truck for real. No refund if you are not showing. Note: Defenders are highly valuable in USA. In only 5 years this truck will be a lot more valuable as it would meet USA 25 year import requirements for out of country classic cars. This Land Rover is like real estate. Basically this investment will not cost you anything, it's taking value with time.Truck is located about 1 hour east of Montreal, Quebec. I do not ship but would help if you need to arrange something. I cannot issue a temporary tag or insurance. I'm not a car dealer. The truck is registered in my business name. Taxes will be according to your location (GST, PST, HST). I will help with shipping in Canada or Export anywhere in the world. Except USA. This vehicle cannot be exported to USA before an other 5 years. Please contact me to discuss further. I will also be selling my truck collection including a Unimog 406 and Volvo TGB11 C303 in nice condition.
