Always garage kept. 64k miles but is still sunday driven. The original motor "D" chunked on cylinder 3 so in winter 2013 the entire motor was replaced with matching motor from porsche. There was an insurance claim on this vehicle when the motor "D" chuncked. Insurance paid out the claim and the car was purchased back from the insurance company to replace the motor. The insurance company salvaged the vehicle because the 30k cost of the motor from porsche. THIS IS A NON ACCIDENT, NON FLOOD SALVAGE..ONLY SALVAGED DUE TO THE MOTOR FAILURE. I was entertaining the idea of buying black rims for the car but wasnt sure on the look so i had the shop dip them. The rims are safe to go through any car wash without concern however if you wanted them back to the original hyper silver, a strong power washer will take the coating off. (no worries, it will not come off from the powerwashers at a car wash) - finally the rear bumper was upgraded a few years back to the newer version as i think it is a much sleeker look. i have the original bumper available. it was removed due to an idiot in a supermarket parking lot with a shopping cart. i made a claim on my insurance and upgraded the bumper. And according to some sources there were only 35 Ferrari 348 TB Serie Speciale coupes manufactured with the remainder being the 348 TS (removable targa top which usually leaked)! The differences between the Serie Speciale and a regular 348 is as follows; The front spoiler was redesigned for aerodynamics, now having a little reverse curve ahead of the front wheels, as well as a lip along the front edge that could be replaced after the inevitable ground scrapes became unsightly. This spoiler was now body-colored, as was the rear skirt, rocker panels and front portion of the engine cover (all were matte black on older models). This is sometimes referred to "Speciale paint" in ads for older cars that have been repainted in this scheme. This is a beautiful Jaguar. I use this car a few times a week to commute to my work and it always starts right up and runs well. I drive it in all seasons and in both night and day. It's really nice and always attracts a lot of attention. This car has all the wonderful features for a layman enthusiast such as automatic transmission for easy driving. Another amazing option is that it has a non-working air conditioning which should be repairable by it's next loving owner. It's hard to list all the improvements and updates done on this vehicle so it will be the buyer's responsibility to come see it and understand it. The Jaguar isn't my passion so I want to move on.
