2007 Sebring in very nice condition. 192,200 miles on the car but only 96,000 on the engine and 79,000 on the transmission. Both professionally installed. Original engine suffered a timing chain failure and needed to be replaced. Transmission was replaced just because of the miles and it had to come out with the engine anyway. The engine and transmission are out of a 2008 model year Dodge Avenger and were inspected and found to be in excellent condition. All fluids were replaced and the transmission was serviced with a new filter and pan gasket. The new engine runs smooth and quiet and the transmission shifts smoothly. Tires have some tread left but will need replacement sooner than later. The interior is very clean with only minor wear on the drivers floor mat and carpet.

Up for sale is my 1970 AMX with only 367 miles since undergoing a 2 year rotisserie restoration. Every part on this car has been disassembled, cleaned, rebuilt or replaced, and then painted, powdercoated or plated before being reassembled. This car is better than new on the outside, inside, and underneath! I originally purchased this car in 2006 and then started the restoration in 2009. Working about 15-20 hours per week on it, I finished the restoration in 2011. Since then, I have enjoyed taking it to the occasional car show and for short drives around town. This car turns heads wherever I go, so if you like unique and beautiful cars like I do, this is the one to have! Sadly, there is only so much space in the garage, and funds in the bank account, that I have to sell this car before starting a new project. This car was originally built with a 390 engine, A/T, A/C, black leather interior and Golden Lime Metallic paint. Out of 4116 AMX’s built in 1970, only 901 had the 390 engine with A/T, and only 98 AMX’s had black leather interiors. The VIN reads A0C397X115840: A (AMC), 0 (1970), C (A/T floor), 3 (AMX), 9 (2 dr hardtop), 7 (AMX), X (390). The door jamb data plate reads: BODY R004144 (Kenosha Lakefront plant), MODEL 7039-L (70 AMX), TRIM 031L (black leather), PAINT 90A (Golden Lime Metallic), E008259 (built on East assembly line). The engine starts easily, and once it’s warmed up it has a nice medium lope, but not overly loud. The car drives very well – steering and suspension are tight and the engine feels strong under low to mid-level acceleration. I haven’t tested to its fullest capability as I haven’t reached the 500 mile break-in yet. The transmission shifts well, although it seems to prefer being manually shifted (that’s more fun anyway). Braking is good, but I don’t believe the power assist is functioning as it should, probably due to a lower level of vacuum (13-14 inHg) that the engine supplies. Maybe some additional engine tuning could get that number higher. The original A/C parts are not currently installed in the engine bay, but I will include those parts in this sale if you want them. The exterior surfaces and underside of the car still look brand new. The original rear window glass has a few small scratches, and the side windows can be a little stiff to roll up (the reproduction glass seems to have slightly less curvature than the originals). I have a couple original side windows with blemishes if you want them. The list below highlights most (I’m certain I’ve forgotten a few) of the parts and services that went into this restoration. With over $42K invested, I have folders crammed full of receipts, manuals, diagrams, instructions and other misc. paperwork.
