I am the 3rd owner of this truck, and it is in great shape. The first 40 years or so of its life were spent on an orange farm in Florida and it has never seen the snow or salt since it has been up here in New England. The tires, brakes and lights are good. It has passed inspection with no issues in the past. This truck has the heavy duty package, which included a larger radiator, larger fan, 240-6 engine, 9 rear end and heavier leaf springs. It runs and drives great, and the body is very straight. It had a full restoration in the mid-1990s, and the paint is still pretty good but most seams have cracked paint and there is a small amount of rust on the tailgate (see pics). Upholstery and interior is also in good shape. Doghouse is un-modified.New in the last 2 years:Radiator re-cored, new thermostat, cap, aluminum water pump, water neck, radiator hoses and v-belt. Rebuilt and adjusted the carburetor.Needs: The dash was changed over from dummy lights to gages by the last owner, but in the meantime he connected the 3 gages shown on the doghouse. So the speedometer works but the rest of the instrument cluster needs to be connected and the sending units need replaced to matchup with those factory gages. The exhaust manifold recently cracked and is noisy (see pics).New parts included with sale:Clifford Performance 6=8 kit, this has the dual Weber setup with billet accessories and I also had the header ceramic coated. It has intake/exhaust studs, new gaskets and everything needed for installation. Also, a new distributor and ignition control unit to change over to electronic ignition. (The truck runs great, I just wanted to get rid of the points when I added all the other new parts)See pictures. No trades considered. Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>

As you know, it's a classic. I hate to part with it but I don't have the funds to get it where it belongs. I bought it six years ago and it's been my daily driver. Harsh winters or fierce summers, it always started immediately and got me where I needed to be. Unfortunately, the New England seasons have caused too much rust for it to pass state inspection. It definitely needs panel replacements and probably reinforcement to the back end. The engine works flawlessly and the interior is in very good shape for a 26 year old vehicle. The driver seat has a minor tear in the vinyl; the rear seat has tears due to the folding down action—both are fairly common. The lambswool seat covers are included for the front seats. I bought them five years ago to stem any further deterioration of the upholstery and add some comfort which they've done. The rear seat is somewhat discolored but in good condition. The rear bed carpeting is rough around the edges but fine. No cracks in the dash. As you can see in the pix, everything looks good on the inside. The AC didn't work when I bought it and still doesn't—just seemed wrong to luxurize a truck like this when I could simply roll down the windows! Headliner is practically perfect.
