Well, with this 2000 Camaro Z/28 ragtop, you also get low mileage twin-turbocharged horsepower, making it one heck of a bargain. The subtle silver paint certainly helps, but this is the kind of car that catches everyone sleeping and absolutely astounds them with its performance. The late fourth generation Camaros were actually pretty polished cars, with an upscale look that was worlds ahead of their bargain-priced performance reputation, and the Z/28 was still the king of the hill in terms of performance. This one shows just 36,425 original miles, and the bodywork is every bit as nice as you'd expect. The paint is quite nice, having been buffed and waxed on a regular basis and by 2000, GM had their paint facilities pretty well dialed-in, so the finish looks great even 15 years later. Of course, you already know that this one has always been a fair-weather driver and never used as daily transportation, and that certainly helps. Things like the chin spoiler, rocker panels, and the hood are all in very good condition with only minor signs of use. Like I said, finding a clean Z/28 at this price is a real score, but this one, well, it offers just a little extra. Like the exterior, the interior is pretty stock, and even with a serious horsepower injection, big modifications weren't necessary here. The high-back buckets still hold you in place and while the driver's seat shows a bit of minor use, everything's in remarkably good shape. Power everything was part of the Z/28 package, so you get power windows, locks, and seats, cruise control, and a fully functional A/C system, all of which is pretty remarkable considering how packed the engine bay is now. For a convertible the soft parts are in excellent shape with no fading or dried-out plastic parts, and the leather-wrapped wheel is easy to grab. A full complement of factory gauges monitor the basics, along with a set of Auto Meter dials on the A-pillar to monitor boost and exhaust gas temperatures, critical for getting the tune just right. Of course, there's a nice-fitting black canvas convertible top that disappears at the touch of a button and while it's not much, there's a trunk out back that'll carry a weekend's worth of luggage. OK, the real deal here is the boosted LS1 powerplant. Sporting a pair of intercooled turbos from INCON, it makes substantially more than the factory-rated 305 horsepower and seemingly endless reserves of torque. The plumbing is remarkably compact, with two new Garrett ball-bearing turbochargers nestled close to the block and fed by a dedicated oil pump system. Upgraded fuel injectors, a 3-inch exhaust system, oversized fuel pump, and a set of custom down pipes, it's remarkable docile and incredibly savage at the same time. The 6-speed manual is upgraded with a Spec 1 clutch, but the rest of the factory driveline is more than up to the challenge of turning all that power into acceleration. The turbos spool online smoothly with a swelling wallop of torque that's irresistible, and even the oversized rubber struggles to put it down in the first three gears. Upgraded sway bars help, as do those big 17-inch Simmons 3-piece wheels, but by the time anyone else spots the upgrades, you're already making full boost and long gone. Giant 275/40/17 front and 315/35/17 rear tires do their best, but there's a lot of power here to manage. An incredible performer with great looks and low mileage, this is the biggest bang for the buck we've ever offered. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 3,451 Actual Mile Camaro Z/28 EFI 5.7L LS1 V8 6 Speed A/C Year: 2000 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Silver Mileage: 3451 Transmission type: 6 Speed Manual Engine: LS1 5.7 Liter V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info I'm certain the day will come when future enthusiasts refer to the early part of the 21st century as the golden years of horsepower. Gas was cheap, technology made high performance cars easy to build, and about the only thing that mattered was getting to the next stoplight faster than the guy beside you. From 260 horsepower front-wheel-drive econoboxes to 605 horsepower 4-door Autobahn assassins, it truly was one of the best times to be a car enthusiast. And, fortunately, low-mileage muscle like this factory-fresh Camaro Z28 allow a few lucky car guys to hang onto those days just a little bit longer. Immaculately maintained and rarely driven, this coupe wraps GM's top option LS1 and a stout Tremec 6-speed in a slick black and silver color combination. If you're longing for modern muscle that has the showroom appeal of a new car without the inflated sticker shock, this sweet F4 is the bargain you've been waiting for! Whether they wanted to create higher quality cars for future collectors, or simply make as much money as possible on as much inventory as possible, it seems GM's mindset was to assemble many final year F-Bodies with a generous list of optional equipment. Here's a detailed rundown of this Z28's laminated window sticker: 2000 CAMARO Z28 2-DOOR COUPE5.7 liter SFI V86-speed manual transmissionSebring Silver Metallic paintEbony cloth interior STANDARD EQUIPMENT:16-inch aluminum wheels235/55/R16 blackwall steel-belted radial touring tiresDecarbon monotube shocksPower 4-wheel disc brakesPower rack-and-pinion steeringStainless steel exhaust-----Driver and front passenger airbags3-point front and rear safety beltsPassKey II theft deterrent system with starter interruptDaytime running lamps-----Basecoat/clearcoat paintBlack roof and body-color mirrorsComposite doors, top, front fenders, bumpers and hatch5 MPH bumpers-----Air conditioning500-watt Monsoon AM/FM stereo with cassette, eight speakers and an amplifierComfortilt steering wheelFolding rear seatFull analog gauge clusterLow oil level indicatorFull center consoleIntermittent wiper systemCovered visor mirrorsRear cargo closeout panelSolar Ray tinted glass OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:Preferred Equipment Group ($1,715)-- Electronic speed control with resume function-- Remote hatch release-- Fog lamps-- Power door locks-- Power windows--Twin remote electric mirrors-- Leather wrapped steering wheel with radio controls-- Remote keyless entry-- Theft deterrent alarm system-- Carpeted rear floor mats-- Bodyside moldings-- 6-way power driver's seatSport Appearance Package ($1,348)-- Front fascia extension-- Rocker moldings-- Spoiler extension-- Rear fascia moldingLocking removable roof panels ($995)Acceleration Slip Regulation ($450)245/50/ZR16 blackwall steel-belted radialsElectric rear window defogger ($170)Federal emissions ($00)STANDARD VEHICLE PRICE: $21,515TOTAL OPTIONS: $4,903DESTINATION CHARGE: $550MANUFACTURER'S SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE: $26,968 Garaged and pampered since it was one of the last vehicles to roll off GM's Sainte Therese, Quebec assembly line, this awesome Camaro is an essentially new offering that's averaged only 247 sunny day miles per year. The car's GM-applied Sebring Silver two-stage presents as new and, naturally, showroom-fresh fit is as close to perfect as a factory car can get. There isn't a speck of road rash anywhere on its nose, and the rockers, devoid of tire spinning battle wounds, are as clean and perfect as the day they rolled off the assembly line. In a world where the newest Camaro has inspired a renewed love affair with first generations cars, it's nice to see a pristine F4 that represents the no-compromises big engine, all speed mentality which team Camaro championed for most of its existence. On a 14 year old road car, the devil's in the details. And one close look at this awesome Z28 confirms the coupe's two previous owners took details very seriously. Up front, one of the most aggressive faces Chevrolet ever produced hangs factory-fresh headlights above a Flat Black grille, HID fog lamps and optional rocker extensions. At the sides of that face, sporty "Z28" emblems provide excellent contrast to body-matched moldings, body-matched mirrors and optional sill extensions. Above those emblems, leak-free T-tops cap fresh greenhouse glass and an original, raked windshield. And, out back, an optional wing floats above tri-color tail lights, a third "Z28" emblem and an optional bumper extension. Cosmetic appeal aside this Camaro is, first and foremost, a performance machine: the car's BEST attribute is going fast. Lift the sculpted hood and you'll find a potent Generation III V8 which is the forerunner to virtually all the technology still featured in GM sports cars. Utilizing an aluminum block and heads, flat top pistons and coil near plug ignition, that efficient, overhead valve LS1 is conservatively rated at 305 horsepower and 335 lb./ft. of Kansas-flat torque. Mechanically, the small block presents a spotless, like-new appearance, and the engine compartment looks exactly as it did when the car left the showroom roughly 14 years ago. In general, LS1s are super stout pieces which are virtually indestructible. And, while we know this car has been babied, you're probably not going to break a fourth generation Camaro. Twist the key and the cylinders rumble to life, sending rhythmic notes through subtle factory exhaust. Goose the throttle and the engine smoothly zings toward redline. And the car's effortless power really begins to show itself when given enough room. Take a look under this Chevy and spotless floors, clean stainless hardware and fresh factory equipment make it clear the car's previous owners were absolutely meticulous about maintenance. Behind the engine, you'll find a slick-shifting Borg Warner T56 6-speed, which spins a 10-bolt, posi-traction rear end around friendly, 2.73 gears. Braking is provided by four discs, which have been upfitted with standard anti-lock. Exhaust flows through aluminized factory pipes to a transversely mounted muffler and fourth generation-exclusive tips. At the corners of the car, 16-inch wheels are mounted to sticky 245/50 Goodyear Eagle RS-As. Unlike Camaros of the past, the fourth generation has the hardware to maximize all of its power thanks to a performance-tuned double A-arm front and 3-link rear suspension. And, with all those basics secured, GM's official mediator for its performance madness, Acceleration Slip Regulation, was installed and activated. Inside the car, fresh bucket seats adjust electronically for the driver and fit like a glove all around, while a leather-clad steering wheel sports convenient thumb controls for an awesome Monsoon sound system. The instrument panel is a familiar and legible GM layout which features a built in Driver Information Center next to a large tachometer and sweeping speedometer. Between the seats, a small shifter sits in a straight and clean console. And naturally, all the luxuries you'd expect in a modern car are present and accounted for including: power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, a power trunk and remote keyless entry with GMs PASSkey theft deterrent system. It's always hard to describe a car that's essentially new in every way. So I'll just sum this Z28 up by saying that everything is in impeccable working order, from the optional cruise control all the way to the ice cold air conditioning. The sale of this silver panther includes an original Plant Manifest, an original Owner's Manual, the aforementioned window sticker, an unopened wheel lock socket and two sets of keys. Looking back on the long history of the F-Body, there's little doubt that this 2000 Z28 is one of the fastest, best-handling and most enjoyable Camaros of all time. It exhibits the best of everything from one of the last authentic pony cars, and it's the perfect fit for any serious collector who loves showroom-fresh muscle. Buy the car and stash it away for a few decades, or take it out and enjoy every second of one of the best eras of automotive performance! Great cars are being snatched up for strong money and big returns almost as fast as they hit our showroom! At RK Motors Charlotte, we retail more first class Chevys than anyone in the world. And in the second half of 2015, we've already sold TEN first generation Camaros to ten very satisfied owners. Our latest offering, this Concours Silver-winning Z/28, is a numbers-matching icon that, in addition to being fully documented, has been certified by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance. If you're a serious pony car enthusiast who's looking for a clean, correctly sorted showpiece, you're staring at your next classic! BODYWORK/TRIM Rolling out of a 4-year restoration in the summer of 2000, and fine-tuned in early 2004, this LeMans Blue gem is the product of A LOT of time spent sweating details. From its correct vinyl top to its NOS replacement quarters, the car's rock-solid metal displays craftsmanship that's nothing short of excellent. Not surprisingly, every seam between that metal's correct D80 spoilers has been aligned to better-than-factory fit. And ultimately, it all adds up to one super impressive F-Body that, despite being restored roughly 11 years prior, took home Concours Silver honors at the 2011 Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals. ENGINE Hoist the cowl induction hood and you'll find a 302 cubic inch Chevrolet small block that, according to Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance, is the car's original, numbers-matching engine. Straight from the General this exclusive package utilized high-flow, rectangular-port heads, a forged steel crank, forged steel rods and forged aluminum pistons to twist stout 11 to 1 compression into more than 350 horsepower! At the top of the dressed and detailed mill, a black, single-snorkel air cleaner swirls wind in to a correct Winters intake thanks to a familiar Holley carburetor. At the sides of that intake, authentic 'double hump' heads hang finned valve covers over shielded exhaust manifolds. At the back of those heads, a mandatory points distributor shoots spark through fresh Packard TV R Suppression cables. Naturally, the raucous V8's ancillary components are on-point, with fresh GM hoses, a tagged Delco battery and a tagged Delco Moraine brake booster accompanying a correct alternator and era-correct smog equipment. And an evenly sprayed combination of Chevy Orange skin and Satin Black framing is capped by full hood insulation. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The ferocious powerplant twists torque through an original, MacNeish-certified Muncie, which twists an original, MacNeish-certified 12-bolt. That correctly tagged drivetrain rides a fully rebuilt and correctly tagged suspension, which centers beefy traction bars between correct, power-assisted brakes. There's a chambered exhaust system that terminates with polished tips. That system is framed by solid floors, which plant smooth Satin Black paint under vivid LeMans Blue overspray. And those floors roll on 15-inch Rallys, which spin E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GTs around dent-free trim rings and correct turbine center caps. INTERIOR Open this Camaro's solid-closing doors and you'll find a correct Blue interior that wraps correct Standard trim around clean, classic style. A familiar bucket and bench seating layout features optional front headrests. In front of those seats, a '69-exclusive dash hangs a correct tachometer and optional clock between a color-keyed pad and faux wood trim. At the base of that dash, a traditional F1 console frames a factory Hurst shifter. Below that console, a quartet of floor mats protects like-new carpet. At the edges of that carpet, Standard door panels center small armrests in pristine stainless hardware. In front of the driver, a fixed steering column spins a classy Rally Wheel. If you were one of the millions of guys who had Farrah Fawcett in that red swimsuit on your bedroom wall, your car awaits. This 1979 Camaro Z28 is proof that the muscle car didn\'t die, it just went on an extended vacation in the mid-70s. With a freshly rebuilt 350, a load of options, and that searing yellow paint job, you won\'t be sneaking around in this one, but then again, why would you want to? The color is called Bright Yellow, and there\'s no question about that. It\'s also one of the most popular colors for Z28s, and it has a look that captures the era perfectly. The car is also beautifully preserved, with either a quality repaint sometime in the past, or amazing presentation of the original finish. Either way, it looks authentic and this car could easily pass for a survivor. The aggressive chin spoiler shows no marks from run-ins with parking curbs, mud flaps have protected the lower rockers from rocks, and the stripe package remains bright and vivid against the yellow paint. Judging by the rich black insert in the hood, the condition of the grille, and the clarity of the taillights, I\'d wager that this car has spent a good amount of its life protected and indoors, used only as a fair-weather toy. And, as a southern car, there is no rust. The black buckets will look familiar to any F-body fan, and they are as comfortable as they look. Like the bodywork, the interior is remarkably well preserved, with no splits or tears in the seat covers, and very little wear, even on the driver\'s side bolster, which always takes the most abuse. Plus, deep pile carpeting was all the rage in 1979, and it remains in good condition with no fading or matting from winter boots soaking it, and the door panels show only very minor signs of aging. This Z also includes things like factory A/C, a tilt wheel, a center console, and an optional tachometer. Upgrades are limited to the entertainment system, which now offers AM/FM/CD capabilities in a nicely integrated package. The engine is a date code correct 350 that was freshly rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. Nestled into a highly original engine bay, this one is thankfully free of the questionable modifications that so often befell cars like this. Instead it\'s very stock, very original, and very nicely preserved, perhaps only a weekend of elbow grease away from being a qualified entrant into preservation judging if that\'s your style. Underneath, it\'s clean and solid, with signs of recent service on both the transmission and 3.42-geared 10-bolt rear end. Even the original catalytic converter is still in place and the mufflers seem newer, although the tailpipes really should be replaced. The original color-matched wheels show virtually zero curb rash and wear newer Yokohama radials. Second-generation Camaros are seeing upward movement as hobbyists look to the cars of their youth, and this is a great opportunity. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom. When this 2001 Camaro Z/28 convertible was built, nobody knew what the future of the F-body would hold. Today we know its legacy is secure, but in the mid-2000s, fantastic, original V8 Camaros like this were like gold. Finding one that is 100% stock, with low mileage and an unusual color combination is one way to assure future collectability, and in the meantime, it\'s an absolute ball to drive. GM was fascinated with Pewter on their performance cars around the turn of the century, and the contrast between brute-force performance and the subtle color is insanely attractive. The composite bodywork strikes a nice balance between F-body icon and grown-up performance car and since it\'s immune to rust and dents, this one shows quite well today. Sure, there are a few very minor signs that it\'s been driven, but overall there\'s no doubt that this car was beloved by the two guys who have had the honor of owning it. The well-integrated wing looks even better on the convertible than it does on the coupe and who doesn\'t love the way the front fenders swoop up to meld into the side mirrors? No stripes, no hood scoops, just an ultra-smooth look that makes this Camaro a fantastic grand touring car rather than a boy-racer. If nobody notices those discreet Z/28 badges, this car could be one heck of a sleeper. Black leather is the right choice with the Pewter bodywork, again reinforcing the idea that this is an adult\'s car, not a slot car toy. The leather buckets are as comfortable as they are supportive, equally well-suited to long-distance hauls as to carving through back country roads. Particularly for a convertible the leather is in really nice shape with only minor comfort marks that add character. Z/28s came only one way: loaded, and this one includes all the goodies including A/C, power windows, locks, and top, a tilt wheel, power driver\'s seat, and cruise control, so it really does cover all the bases. The Bose stereo system sounds absolutely fantastic, top up or top down, and it has obviously never spent any time being stored outdoors, because the carpets and dash pad are excellent. The top stows beneath a matching semi-rigid boot and the trunk, while modest, is nicely finished and includes a space-saver spare. A lot of guys were worried about the LS1 in the Camaro, but once the performance numbers came out, those fears were laid to rest. While GM put different numbers on the F-body LS1 engine and the Corvette version, the truth is that they\'re pretty much identical inside. As a result, this was among the most potent Camaros ever built, yet still pulls down decent fuel economy and idles as smoothly as a Cadillac. The LS1 is insanely easy to modify, but this one thankfully remains completely unmolested, right down to the air filter, so it\'s reliable and you don\'t have to worry about questionable workmanship. A 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission means that massive acceleration requires only one foot and two hands on the wheel. The suspension is still pretty stiff, but you can drive it every day without sacrifice, and with those shiny chrome SS wheels and 245/50/16 tires, it looks fantastic. Fully documented with manuals and books, this is an investment-grade fourth-generation Camaro. Enjoy it now, because cars like this are going to be really hard to find in the future. Call today! There are so many early Camaros running around that it would be easy to think that most were high-end SS models. Well, that\'s not true and this honest 1967 Camaro is much closer to reality. With a matching-numbers 327, factory 4-speed, and honest good looks, it\'s the kind of middle-of-the-road Camaro most guys ended up with and which is hardly ever seen today. That alone makes it special. OK, so the color was changed from the original code D Nantucket Blue to the glistening Tuxedo Black that it wears today, but you sure can\'t argue with the results. Despite the car\'s humble beginnings, the fact that it spend its life in California and still wears all its original sheetmetal means that it was an ideal candidate for basic black. When they pulled the carpets and found virgin steel underneath, they knew they\'d found a special car, so they pulled all the trim, realigned all the panels to make everything as right as it could be, then gave it a full coat of two-stage urethane that\'s about a mile deep. The work was done back in 2000, but it\'s so impressive today that it seems months old, not years. And aside from the color change, not much was altered; that\'s a stock flat hood, a correct base Camaro grille, and even the badges are factory-issue. Still, while they had the trim off they polished it up and reinstalled the bright chrome bumpers that still sparkle against the black paint. The black interior is completely original save for the carpets, which were replaced when the car was repainted. Sporting upgraded Custom buckets, it\'s remarkably well preserved with only light signs of use on the driver\'s seat, but no major splits or tears that would demand replacement. A center console is a desirable option and the headliner is in amazing condition. The factory gauges, which are in great condition, are joined by a set of Stewart-Warner oil pressure and temperature gauges under the dash, and they look like they belong there. It also includes the factory AM radio, stock 4-speed manual shifter, and deep-dish steering wheel, all of which are in excellent shape. The trunk is also original sheetmetal, and they do have a reproduction mat for it, but decided not to install it simply to avoid condensation and rust underneath. The original, numbers-matching 327 cubic inch V8 remains in place between the shock towers, and remarkably, it still carries a 2-barrel carburetor up top. It starts easily and runs smoothly thanks to a Pertronix electronic ignition system, but otherwise it\'s quite stock. And honestly, with 210 horsepower on tap and a 4-speed, it\'s plenty entertaining to drive and doesn\'t get cranky in traffic. In fact, a new 3-core radiator was recently installed, along with reproduction hoses and clamps, to really make it look right and keep its cool under any conditions. The 4-speed was rebuilt just last year and the stock 10-bolt rear end hangs on replacement springs that preserve the factory ride. Heck, it\'s still got single exhaust! The only other changes are a set of KYB shocks and those flashy Cragar mags, which are period correct and carry a set of recently-installed white-letter radials. An outstanding survivor, this Camaro proves that there\'s joy in being different, even if different today means something a lot different than in 1967. If you cherish originality, this car is a great choice. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom. Aside from ultra-rare COPOs, the 1969 Z/28 has to be among the most desirable Camaros of all time. This extraordinary Fathom Green Camaro is a real-deal Z/28 documented by Jerry MacNeish, and it\'s been comprehensively restored to show standards with one particularly interesting trick up its sleeve. Read on and find out more! Stealthy and insanely fast, this Camaro under-promises and over-delivers with its low-key color and high-performance attitude. Fathom Green is this car\'s original color and was expertly re-created in two-stage urethane when the car was restored just last year. White stripes are, of course, an important part of the Z/28 look, along with the requisite cowl-induction hood, chin spoiler, and the ducktail out back. Finish quality is extraordinary and this is undoubtedly one of the nicest Camaros we\'ve ever featured, and as you\'d expect at this level, it\'s very hard to find anything to fault. Panel gaps are exacting, the creases in the fenders are crisp, and all the badges were reinstalled perhaps more perfectly than the factory could manage. Beautiful chrome bumpers, polished stainless trim, and factory-correct detailing emphasize this car\'s show-worthy look. It\'s been driven about 2000 miles since it was completed, but it certainly doesn\'t show. The matching Midnight Green interior is equally nice and a wonderful change from the usual black. This Z/28 is nicely optioned with a woodgrained steering wheel, matching center console, and factory gauge package mounted on the console itself. All the gauges except the speedometer are brand new; in fact, everything inside this car is brand new and expertly installed. There\'s zero evidence of use, even in the driver\'s seat area, and the overall look is extremely authentic. Heck, even the clock works! The center dash was fitted with an AM/FM radio, which is always a welcome upgrade on a car that you\'re going to want to drive, and rubber floor mats will help keep it looking new for years to come. The trunk was also refinished using correct spatter paint and a matching full-sized spare tire assembly with jack. Although this is a documented Z/28, the original DZ-code 302 is missing and has been replaced with a burly 385 \"Fastburn\" crate motor. With aluminum heads, it\'s both lighter and more powerful than the original 302, and it has been fortified with a roller cam, Vortech intake manifold, a big Holley carb, and HEI ignition system, so it is an incredible runner. It also looks quite authentic, with bright Chevy Orange paint on the block, proper Z/28 air cleaner with functional ram air and decals, plus little stuff like the tower hose clamps and oversized pulleys on the accessories. The list of new components is extensive, and it has been driven just enough to ensure that all the kinks have been worked out. The transmission is a fully rebuilt Muncie 4-speed feeding a properly-spec\'d G80 12-bolt with 3.73 gears on a Posi. The chassis is nicely detailed with gorgeous ceramic-coated Doug Thorley long-tube headers and a reproduction exhaust system, nicely finished floors, and new hardware throughout. Correct Rally wheels fill out the roster and wear 235/60/15 front and 255/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials. Documented with a Jerry MacNeish certification, this stunning Z/28 is one of those cars that\'s simply beautiful to look at, but its true beauty doesn\'t become apparent until you take a turn behind the wheel. This 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II has purposely been built to look like budget survivor and drive like a thoroughbred muscle car. The trick to building an effective street machine is to keep it low-key. Ermine White is the perfect shade of everyday transport, and of course, also a color shared with the Corvette... and that's exactly how to view this coupe. It could be a wolf in sheep's clothing. The sheetmetal is quite straight, and if you're looking to suprise, the two-door sedan is the body style you want, with its extra rigidity and lighter weight. No modifications to the body were permitted, not even a cowl-induction hood, and they even resisted the urge to add the extra chrome of the upper-level Novas. Instead, this is the classic that you sit back at the car shows and watch as the real enthusiasts take notice of how secretly special this one really is. Possibly the only real exterior indication they will pick up on are the 15-inch rally wheels borrowed from an early Camaro. The interior offers a few more hints at this Chevy's upgraded side. The blue vinyl bench seat is original equipment, and works well with the low-profile mission. It's part of a new interior package that includes the door panels, headliner, package tray, visors, seat covers, kick panels, and arm rests. Of course anyone looking that closely at this pristine interior will notice the big B&M shifter. From there, bow-tie fans will recognize the three-spoke Grant sport steering wheel. But what will really get them talking is the new gauge package that fits so well in the original slots, and yet stands out as the perfect custom piece. It includes large AutoMeter readouts for the speedometer and tachometer, as well as pods for the oil, water, and battery neatly incorporated in the radio slot. Once you pop the hood, this Chevy II can no longer pretend it's anything but a nice custom upgraded build. Sure the V8 was an option in '64, but the 350 cubic-inch small-block didn't come along until later SS coupes. The crate motor in this one has less than 3,500 miles on it, and when it was built in 2009, there were plenty of performance goodies added. This includes a Weiand X-Celerator intake, Edelbrock Thunder AVS 650 CFM carburetor, Comp Cams high energy camshaft, Proform 14-inch electric fan, aluminum radiator, and Hooker Pro Competition long tube ceramic headers. This exits through a custom dual exhaust with performance H-pipe for that perfect muscle car sound that will keep people guessing if that rumble is really coming from the incognito coupe. The power is sent to a stout three-speed TH350 automatic transmission with a PRC cooler and TCI slotted pan. The power then gets to the ground via a 10-bolt Positraction rear end running a 3.23 ratio. This one is an all-around driver with a full custom suspension, including new disc brakes up front. There's so much going on under the skin on this custom build that we don't have the room to list it all here. But give us a call, and we'll be happy to share all the details of the best coupe you never saw coming. You can do a lot with an old pickup truck, but when they\'re restored to the level of this 1963 Chevrolet C10 pickup, shows and cruise-ins should be your primary interest. Gorgeous paint, a fresh interior, and a sharp-dressed small block make this one a winner for guys who like trophies but maybe not so much for the guy who needs to haul a load of plywood. That red paint doesn\'t look this good by accident. No, there\'s a ton of time tied up in the bodywork on this cool stepside, and given that it wasn\'t until recently that these trucks were legitimate collectors\' items, it stands to reason that finding clean ones is none too easy. Fortunately, this one looks great and stands up well under close scrutiny. Panel fit is good all around, the surfaces were all properly blocked and prepped, and the two-stage urethane paint has a shine that\'s deep and lustrous. There\'s a familiar look to an old red pickup, so they didn\'t alter the original bodywork, but then again, these trucks look so good that they almost look customized right off the showroom floor. Check out the little wing on the back of the cab, the crease running through the rear fenders, and those gorgeous wrap-around bumpers that are more Cadillac than pickup truck. In fact, most of the chrome and stainless was restored or replaced, and it all glitters brightly against the red finish. And no old pickup would be complete without a shiny wooden bed, and that\'s certainly the case here. The handsome black interior looks freshly restored and if not totally accurate, at least period correct. Pleats on the seat, a big, thin-rimmed steering wheel, and a painted dash were all appropriate pieces of a truck interior in the early \'60s. Part of the C10\'s popularity had to do with its twin cockpit look which mirrored the Corvette and other passenger cars, marking one of the first times designers actually made the interior of a truck look sporty. Of course, lots of upgrades make this one a cruising favorite, including an engine-turned instrument panel with new Equus gauges, custom door panels, carpeted floors, and an A/C system tucked discreetly under the dash. New tinted glass with fresh weather-stripping was installed all around, which surely helps out in warmer climates, and heavy-duty floor mats keep it looking fresh. For power, a new 350 cubic inch crate motor was dropped between the fenders then splashed with chrome. It\'s only got about 2000 miles on it since the installation, just enough to work out the bugs but not so much that it knocks the freshness off. A 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum intake help build power, and most of the ancillary stuff was dipped in chrome before it was installed. The brake booster and master cylinder are recent, the radiator was just cleaned, and a set of disc brakes were installed up front, so it\'s ready to drive cross-country at a moment\'s notice. An automatic transmission and heavy-duty rear end mean that it\'s still technically capable of working like a truck, although the sweet-sounding dual exhaust system is more Camaro than C10. And there\'s no avoiding those giant chrome Boss Motorsports wheels, which have been wrapped in brand new 255/50/20 front and 285/50/20 rear Nitto radials. This is a really nice truck that\'s totally impossible to duplicate for the asking price. If you like vintage haulers, this one should appeal to you. Call today!
