Up for sale is a 1974 Charger 2 Door Coupe Hardtop with a 318 CI engine with a 4 BBL carb. I believe the engine is #'s matching but I don't know for sure. The valve covers are MOPAR, has new aluminum radiator, brand new Cooper Cobra GT Radial tires. Tires still have the nubs, less than 500 miles on them. It is 99% rust free. The car is a great project to work on. I have begun to change the interior color over to black. I don't think this is your average 318 engine either, it sounds MEAN! It looks and sounds like it's had some work done to it, maybe bored out? I have videos of it running before the color change to black, can send those if you want, can facebook them. Have driver quality black bucket seats to be included with tracks 7. rebuilt trans with less than 1000 miles on rebuild 8. New black carpet still in box Cons: 1. The driver's side door needs a rod for the outside handle, and the window needs the crank mech, needs adjustment. I have the parts to fix it. 2. Needs paint job, has some overspray on chrome trim, and a bit on the glass, can be taken off with wet steel wool (20 footer) 3. Power steering pump, pulley and gear box need replaced. 4. Needs headliner, and rear sail panels, I have extra interior for the car, extra parts such as visors, ect. The whole underside is not rusted, the frame and floors are very solid, as is the trunk as well. The exhaust all the way back from the engine is custom stainless steel which alone cost $1500. The car will fire right up. I have driven it a little bit and it has been driving great. Everything in the trunk will be included with the car, which is bumper guards, extra parts, interior parts, the original 318 air cleaner set up, ect. Any questions, please ask. The air cleaner and valve covers are MOPAR, has new aluminum radiator, brand new Cooper Cobra tires, they are mounted with the white lettering on the inside, would look much better turned around, tires still have the nubs. It is 99% rust free, if you open the passenger side door, there's a small amount of rust (see photo). The car is a great project to work on, it needs interior, the back seat has been recovered, it needs headliner, trim pieces, driver's side door panel (I have most of the parts for the interior), it needs carpet and the front seat needs to be redone. The dash is cracked. The driver's side door will only open from the inside, it's missing a spring in the door handle, and the window does not work, it needs to be put back on the track. The whole underside is not rusted, the frame and floors are very solid, as is the trunk as well. The exhaust all the way back from the engine is custom stainless steel which alone cost $1500. I don't know if it's numbers matching engine but it's very possible. The car will fire right up. Car is in great condition for it's age. The interior is in good condition, and all of the gauges work. The Overdrive does not work, I drive it in regular drive and have no issues, shifts smooth, has a v6 motor, motor is strong. The paint is cracking ever so lightly in a few areas. The "trunk" opens and shuts great. Odometer says 77000 miles, I do not know if they are original or not. Car fires right up 9 out of 10 times. Tires are like brand new with 90% tread. AC & Heat both work. The dashpad has a crack in it, I have an extra I can include with the car. Please ask any questions, car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel listing at any time. Buyer must put down $500 deposit within 24 hours of sale, has 7 days to complete payment in full via cash in person, or cashier's check.
