**This Jeep is also listed locally and and this so my second time listing AND THIS WILL NOT BE LISTED AGAIN.This listing is for a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4 with a 2.5" lift and a professionally installed snorkel kit. There are Husky Liners in the front, back floorboard and in the back hatch/cargo area. It has a new pair if tail light covers, starter, alternator, battery, under the hood (not the secondary battery in the back cargo area), an oil change with a K&N 1500 mile oil filter last week, the radiator was just flushed and prepped for the winter with a new thermostat, has had a recent tune up with new plugs wires cap and rotor, the tires are Firestone Destination with good/fair tread left on them, it has a roof basket with the spare tire on it held down with a 600 lb ratchet strap and cover, has a custom Australian TJM steel bumper in the back with a 12 inch steel hitch step/extender. It has Smittybilt front seat covers, it has a very nice Power Acoustuk stereo with aux plug and USB slot, the bottom trim and fender flares has been painted with black truck bed liner and there is a whole lot more so message with any questions you have. The heat blows great and the a/c is having issues but it is a Jeep and you should roll with the windows down. It has the customary Jeep issues with the driver's side window teeth being broken so it clicks when it is put up and down and you can only control the windows from the driver's side. It needs a new oil pan gasket (not pouring oil just an occasional drip). Other than the oil pan gasket, there are no leaks of any fluids that I see and the engine and transmission are original with 210,007 miles as of right now. The maintenance on the engine and transmission have been kept up with loving care and both are SOLID. This Jeep is beautiful and will run forever on the 4 liter straight 6 in it if you keep up maintenance (like I have). The interior is in fair condition (pretty darn good for it's age). The body has no rust. The paint job is very good for it's age has a few dings and scratches but no major damage. This is a steal, but I have 1 kid out of the house, 1 kid going to college soon and the other graduating next year so our Jeep Liberty will be just fine and save us on insurance, gas, taxes, etc. Grab it now before it's gone because you will LOVE this Jeep. In dash fuel gauge disconnected, gas tank is connected to aftermarket gauge (I used to have a fuel cell in the trunk and when I removed it, I never swapped the connections, though the dash gas gauge does work.) Sending unit that is currently installed is new, but it is not the correct length for the tank. This is an easy fix, as the tank and hardware is new. Body: Needs needs to be completely worked. Bumpers all chrome in good condition Hood is yellow, and came off of a similar year Nova. Insulation pads still intact and has attached courtesy light under hood (not hooked up) Has the "Nova" hood emblem "383 Stroker" Badge on both sides **I will entertain all reasonable offers... I am a second year law student, with a baby on the way, and as much as I love this car, American Muscle doesn't run on faith. I have owned this car since I was 19. It was always my dream to own an old muscle car, and with my first enlistment bonus I bought this 1973 Chevy Nova from it's second owner, in 2007, on the island of Oahu while I was stationed in pearl harbor , and brought it with me to SC in 2010 for my last tour of duty. You can't beat a classic car with a fresh motor. You can hear and feel the HP in this beast, and you will be hard pressed to keep a set of tires intact once you feel the raw power she delivers to the street. She still needs work, but the hardest parts of any classic restoration I have already taken care of (motor swap, disc brake conversion, bearing/ball joint replacements etc). Furthermore, having learned the hard way that it is really difficult to build a motor on your own (this is the second 383 I have had in the car), I had the engine built professionally. The engine cranked the first time I keyed the engine after installation, and believe me... there is no better feeling than knowing a motor is put together the right way, and knowing that when you turn the key it's going to start! Additionally, I took the time to invest in quality parts to make sure that the car is reliable enough for daily use.
