You are looking at a 1972 Austin Mini 1000 with 4-speed manual transmission and the original 998cc 4-cylinder engine. It has drum brakes on all 4 wheels and 10" tires. The good: This car has been a short-trip daily-driver (summer only. No salt) and runs well for it's age (once it warms up). It get lots of attention everywhere it goes.In 2007, the car underwent a complete subframe-off restoration which included new floors, new paint and a suspension overhaul.The engine was also rebuilt and modified to accept unleaded gas and a later-style pushrod transmission was installed.New carpet was also installed. We purchased the car in mid 2010 and changed a few things including the addition of chrome eye-brows, mirrors, reverse lights and other trim pieces. We also added a new yellow-top battery, ignition cap, rotor coil and wires and converted the points to electronic ignition. We added an oak dash, tachometer and replaced all the seat belts with safer modern replacements, added airhorns, new trunk carpeting and a straight-through exhaust (the car is a bit loud) as well as a reproduction luggage roof rack.The car does not have a stereo. There is a small amp in the glove box with a MP3 input. This plays through 4 speakers. Two tweeters under the dash and two 6" speakers under the rear seat. In 2012, a new clutch was professionally installed including a new clutch slave cylinder. The cooling system and electrical system was upgraded by the installation of new water pump, silicone hoses and high performance aluminum radiator. The stock alternator was also upgraded to a high-output model.New brakes were installed last year including new shoes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hardware and wheel bearings.The seats have been replaced with newer ones from a 1976 model.This year we installed a new carburetor. The bad:The body is about 7/10. It's in great shape with no real rust to speak of however there are a couple spots where the paint is cracking. There is one area in front of the right rear wheel and another above and to the left of the hood. (see pics).The shifter is sloppy but works. The speedometer recently stopped working HOWEVER a replacement speedometer is included in the sale. The one in the car currently shows 2500km but that's not accurate. The replacement speedometer shows 19000 miles on the odometer. The new owner will have to install. Also, I've just noticed the brake lights don't always work. I haven't looked into it but I'm sure it's an easy fix. I try to honestly disclose as much info as I can and urge all bidders to ask any questions they may have. Remember, this is a 42 year old British car. These cars are quirky so don't think you're going to be driving a new Honda. The buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle however, I will consider driving it to your location within reason. Thanks

The Mondial was the first fuel injected Ferrari instead of carbs (Bosch, K-Jetronic) The Mondial was the work of Pininfarina with its lines & curves. This particular model was designed as a daily executive driver. The engine has been rebuilt. Must be inspected to appreciate the extensive work that has been performed from the 2 valve engine to all mechanical parts replaced. Willing to allow purchaser to have car inspected at their cost. I must be present at inspection. Main expense purchasing a used Ferrari is the engine. There is a custom stainless exhaust which sounds amazing. Rebuilt fuse box, 17’ Speedlines, with Michelin Pilot tires, disc brakes. Classic red on leather tan interior. No tears in seats. However, tear in leather dash above instrument gauges. Pwr sunroof, windows, mirrors, locks, antenna, ac, & rack & pinion steering. Pwr windows a little slow. Locks & antenna not working. Paint is still in considerable good condition with deep shine.
