The pickup is in good condition.An engine fire occurred an no conclusion was made to why it started. The engine is not running due to the fire. Previous to the engine fire, the engine ran great with no issues. The oil was changed every 3000 miles with synthetic oil. The truck was very well treated and taken care of. Our original intensions were to have the truck fixed and put back on the road. We found a replacement vehicle and have decided to sell the pickup. The transmission works great as the rest of the truck is mechanically sound. The exterior paint is original and in very good condition considering the age of the pickup. Years ago the bed was hit by another vehicle and we replaced the bed with another bed. We had the exterior of the bed painted to match the rest of the truck. The paint on the hood of the truck is burnt from the fire. The interior is in very good condition. We had seat covers on the seats which made them look brand new. We removed the seat covers to show the wear and tear the seats have. You as the purchaser are responsible for shipment of the pickup.

Engine is EA81. Prior owner must have replaced motor at some point. The EA81 has just been rebuilt (177,000 miles) by Watson Automotive in Meridian Idaho. Carb rebuilt, new clutch, 2 new half axels, one new hub, new brakes. I modified the hubs on this car to run 6 x 5.5" Japanese wheels 14". Current set of wheels and tires are off a 90s model Isuzu Pup. The car sits up higher and tires are more common. Bought this car sight unseen from Victor Idaho 3 years ago in hopes of fixing it up. After our second child, interests have changed and I cant haul two kids. I have an embarrassing amount of money into this car and have done nothing cosmetically yet. Two electric cooling fans are hard wired into dash switches. New mechanical temp gauge and thermostat because I wanted to monitor temp closely after motor rebuild. Car runs and drives great. Very subtle steering wheel vibration after last right front drive shaft replacement, possible alignment needed. Car could use a new throttle cable and is right on the border of emissions test - needs new CAT. I got the jump seats off Ebay from Washington state and they are the best condition Ive ever seen. Seat belts are included and not shown in photos here. Car is equipped with A/C but it does not work. For sale locally and sale WILL end if sold. Car must be picked up locally here in Boise Idaho.
