NEW 2016 Corvette Stingray * Aluminum Body Special* by Coachsmithing Coachsmithing of Blair, WI is now offering an "Alloy Re-body Special" for the C7 Corvette Stingray. The cars that we build are built In the same fashion as a custom coach built Ferrari Special. You can see similar custom builds that we have done by viewing our website. With the majority of our tooling now completed and several aluminum panels having been made we now are looking for clients that would appreciate owning an * American Made * Aluminum "Super Car". We are working with a dealer in our area and will arrange for the customer to buy the new car directly from them and we then we will take the car for the re-body work. Price varies with differing trim levels and options. You can also send us your car for the conversion work. See the "photo shopped" photo and a few panels that are nearly ready for installation. The conversion will be done at Coachsmithing and offered with a brushed or polished finish with or without racing stripes. Custom options are also possible. There will be several aluminum rivet accents in place for fastening panels to mounting flanges. A new custom metal grill is also included in the offering. Please email with any questions. For Sale - 1964 corvette coupe. This is a very nice and complete project car! Found in a barn in Wisconsin approx. 20 years ago, a restoration was started on the car by the next owner but not completed. The frame and drive train have been gone through, blasted and repainted. The frame is very sound, no rust or holes. The engine has been rebuilt if I remember right and ready to be started. I also believe that the gas tank was new and new brake and fuel lines were put in. The original engine was blown and replaced with a better corvette engine; I'm not sure of the size. Another block will also go along with the project. The fiber glass is in great shape for it's age with only a few minor cracks and slight flares were made on the back fenders. The glass is the original tinted and looks to be in good shape. All parts are believed to be here except for a minor cover or shield in the engine compartment. The above mentioned work was done several years ago so some of the work will probably have to be "spruced up". I found the car in a shop on another farm in WI. It was out of the weather and cared for nicely. We own a coachbuilding company and were going to build it into a very unique Pro Touring car with a polished aluminum body but I have since changed my mind. There are some new parts, upholstery, body mounts, engine and chassis parts etc. Again the car was sold to me as "parts being all there". It was not together when I bought it and I haven't assembled or have gotten into it to know that for certain. Stamped # 18D172963TO50711 It has the 202 heads. The other engine is a 327 . Cast # 3782870 Stamped # J290082FO5I8SB The 202 heads from the engine car may have come from the other engine. We're checking into that.
