The car appears to be very original with the original smog pump and fuel injection on the two-liter motor still in tact. We believe we are the third owners of the car. I purchased the car knowing it had hell-hole rust and severe rust in the passenger floor area. It appears the battery tray area and passenger floor will need replacement. The previous owner said the hood rusted from having a pillow left on it - he inner structure appears solid. The photos inside the front and rear trunks show dirt that was painted over not rust. There is also rust as pictured. It appears to be a highly original car and judging by the paperwork I am the third owner. I do not have a COA but it appears to be a numbers matching car based on the condition, smog pump, fuel injection etc... The 2.0 liter motor will run on starting fluid – and the car benefits from a recently rebuilt distributor and rebuilt fuel injection brain. While running, the car shows oil pressure and the air-conditioning compressor turns freely. Original Fuchs alloys appear to be in good condition and odometer shows believed to be original 79 thousand miles. Also included in the sale are items such as: original Porsche bra, original speaker grills, original jack and original spare tire. Car rolls easily, but will need to be trailered. Stored for many years in a crate in a logistics warehouse, my son discovered it after lengthy Internet searches and countless phone calls. It is also believed to be the last or one of the very last produced - we are waiting for the manufacturer to confirm. The decals are slightly different from the others. I have only seen one other one with a number 1 instead of an 11 and without the driver’s names. When I asked why, I was told because it was the last and they had run out of decals. The previous owner told us that he received a call from Harrod's Department Store in London requesting the car to be displayed in the store which is why it was moved to the logistics warehouse over a decade ago. When Harrod's found out they could not get more to sell and it was the last one available they declined to take it. He has a history of supplying products to Harrod's. The cars were built in Poland for Porsche by a firm that specializes in building small gas powered cars. To our knowledge, and the previous owner’s knowledge, this car has never been removed from its crate and there is no smell of gas from it ever being started. It is like new. The car features the adjustable spoiler and only one small section of the stripe decal lifting. The engine turns easily when pulling the starter rope but I am told there is an electric start. The cars feature high and low beam headlights, working turn signals, a three-speed transmission and a Briggs and Stratton engine with a top speed of 32MPH. I am also told by the gentleman I bought it from that it features disc brakes and spring suspension with shock absorbers. I am a serious Porsche collector who is letting go of pieces of my collection slowly as I’m getting older and looking to thin out my holdings. I am not a dealer or a flipper. We have even had our collection written about in national magazines. When my son and I opened the crate and saw this beautiful car I decided to keep it in its just found condition covered in years of dust that made its way through the crate in the warehouse. This may be the last new Porsche 936 Junior in the world. You are welcome to inspect it in person but I will not let anyone but the buyer sit in it, start it, or remove it from the crate. This is a cherished piece in like new condition and it is up to the new owner to do as they please. It is currently fully insured, yes, even collision – isn’t that funny - and kept in a humidity controlled warehouse next to my other cars. The last time the car was listed it received a high offer of $30,000 we turned it down at the time but decided that now we need the space so it's time for it to find a new home.
