This is an authentic 1996 Chevrolet Camaro SS with 13,000 original miles. Always garaged, covered and basically showroom condition (even smells new inside). Occasionally driven to car shows and back home. It is loaded with options, history, and collectability. There are very few 4th generation genuine SS cars like this left, maybe a handful in this condition. So if you're a prospective buyer this may be your once in a lifetime chance to invest in a piece of American history like this. This car is very special and collectible for these reasons: Condition & mileage are highly desirable. This is the first year Chevy produced an SS Camaro since 1972. There were only 2410 made, this one is #2263 as seen in the pictures. In 1996 & 1997 ONLY were these cars shipped from GM to SLP (Street Legal Performance) to have the SS modifications done similar to the old Yenko and Shelby methodology. From 1998 on all modifications were done at the GM assembly plant which killed some of the uniqueness, not to mention more SS Camaros were made in subsequent years. This car is loaded with almost every option both a Camaro could come with as well as almost every SS option (see pics below). Obviously this won't hold true today but in 1996 this was the 10th fastest muscle car in US history as reported by car & driver.
