Cool looking 50\'s early 60\'s period hot rod. This isn\'t a show car but a very presentable driver. The body and chassis are in great shape for the year. The car has been slightly lowered to give it a great stance. The interior is white tuck and roll and is in exceptional condition. The car currently has a 1953 216 engine in very good running condition (Please see below for details of the spare engine that will be included in the sale). This is a 3 speed car, on the column. The car has been a driving restoration project for the last 3 years. The following has been done to the car over that time period: New tires, New brake lines, New brakes and wheel cylinders. New master cylinder. New fuel tank and lines new fuel pump, New battery (converted to 12 volt). The car runs down the road straight and true.Included in the sale is a 235 full pressure oiler engine. The engine has received extensive upgrades. The details of the engine are as follows:1953 235 full pressure oiler block (from a automatic car)Bored .060\" overDeck has been machined and trued with cylindersMains have been line bored and new bearings fitted and installed (No Shims)New Cam bearingsBlock has been machined for 1 piece rear main sealDynamically balanced crank reground to fitted mains (installed)Patrick\'s 264 grind camshaft (installed) Patrick\'s solid liftersPatrick\'s push tubesPatrick\'s Timing gears (installed)Patrick\'s pistonsPatrick\'s oil pumpLater model head casting (head is completely assembled, ready to install)MagnafluxedresurfacedHardened seatsPatrick\'s valvesPatrick\'s springsTom Langdon HEI distributor with round coil (wire and plugs included)Fenton split exhaust manifoldFenton aluminum intakeTom Langdon dual Carter Weber carburetor set-up (lines and linkage included)Tom Langdon Brushed air cleaners with elementsAll gaskets, seals, bearings, paint and hardware to finish assembling the engineOver 6k in machine work and parts. With over 6k in the spare engine machine work and components + a running cool looking hot rod, rat rod, classic chevy, 14k is a steal.
