Vehicle is a 1983 but European VIN doesn't work VIN is WDB1231301A050861 Runs and drives very well 5 cyl. diesel engine 5 speed manual transmission Recent work includes: New rear axles including seals New glow plugs (starts perfectly) New filters 4 New tires w/ about 2000 miles on them Car lived in Utah until about 6 years ago. This truck is the real thing the sticker price from Hoffman Ford was $73,000.00 I have the sticker somewhere I will take a picture of it and add it to the listing. It came right out of the dealer with a 4 inch lift and 37 tires on 20 pro comp wheels (the wheels are pitted from not having an extra set of wheels and the salt is harsh to them especially after 7 1/2 years of age. it has Nitto Trail Grappler m/t 37x12.50x20 now on it with about 75-80 percent tread. Just had all new brakes and rotors done 3 months ago for inspection and hasn't been used at all since. This has no dents or dings the body is super straight. It came from the factory with a cat back MBRP exhaust. Only 2 things we added to the truck was a Rhino liner (looks brand new) and a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit bed cover. Also the truck is accident free and NEVER OFFROAD!! This truck was pampered from day 1. The interior is close to new but the black leather wore slightly from getting in and out shown in one of the pictures. I want this to be everything you expected and more I'm totally open to doing a facetime showing of the truck so you have no doubt in your mind that you are not wasting your time looking at another used truck. 1985 Mercedes Benz W123 stationwagon Light Ivory with Palomino MB Tex interior 333,275 miles Runs and drives very well Currently shod w/ BBS Wheels w/ Michelin tires (7-8/32nds) AIWA CD player w/ Aux jack for connecting personal audio device I bought this as a potential parts car but after driving it home i decided it was too nice to be parted It was owned for approx 18 years by one family and comes w/ many receipts for work/service done while in their care. Among the most impressive is a brand new transmission ($2300 for the part ) installed approx 65k miles ago Having owned and driven these Mercedes diesels for the past 16 years I can say with alacrity that this one has as much.if not more power, than any other of the 25 or so I was blessed to own; this despite the 333k on the clock The jacking points on the car are solid as are the frame rails, rockers and most of the floor. I repaired some rust on the driver front and the passenger rear will need to be fixed before the car will pass Pa inspection. That said, I drove it home and have been driving it around and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere (I just wouldn't load up the passenger side until i fixed it) Vehicle has the coveted and rare cargo blind (covers the rear area) and net w/ all related hardware (tabs on blind are broken) I can send you a picture of the car driving that shot last week on the way home from work. In summary: Good: Runs and drives well Newer Trans SLS working as it should BBS wheels Michelin tires CD player Cargo Cover Not so Good: Rust in pass floor Some rust on body Paint color is not 100% uniform (a bit darker on some panels-see pics) AC not working Cruise not working Needs hatch struts installed (I have the parts) Seats have some 'pinking' (Pinkamino) and driver seat has some darker discoloration I am willing to sell it for less with the stock wheels (Bundts-see picture) and Goodyear tires (decent) just let me know the specifics when offering. $400 deposit required within 48 hours of purchase.
