This 1948 Chevy sedan project car has a frame ready to go. It has a Nova rear end & Nova sub frame with a Mustang II rack & pinion that will handle power steering. Has a Chevy lock tilt steering wheel with column shifter. All floor boards and trunk are in excellent shape. The body lines are straight. There are two places on the body that need metal work - one is on the driver's side bottom fender and the other is on the passenger side rocker panel. One top hinge on the right side door needs replaced. All flat glass has to be replaced except there is a new tinted glass for rear window. It has a new gas tank. The dash is in the car but there are no instruments. It has the original front seat but it needs redone. There is no back seat; the whole inside has to be redone. It has all modern Nova brakes that can be made into power brakes. The car is wired to start with key. The 350 Chevy motor runs good and starts right up. It is a 1971 police car motor. The tail light openings have been welded in so that custom tail lights can be added. The license plate has been molded (recessed) into the trunk lid. There are no holes on inner fender wells in the back. I have the trunk lid; the hood and the front dog house. The only thing that is not in very good condition is the original grill. There needs to be two pieces of metal welded onto the Nova front frame for the dog house to bolt onto. Car has a South Carolina title but the VIN tag plate is missing from the car. I will provide a legal Bill of Sale along with the title for the buyer. Arrangements for picking up the car will need to be made by the buyer. I will not be responsible for any shipping.
