You are bidding on my 1991 Cadillac Allante. It has 48,900 miles, black with neutral tan leather interior. The interior while not perfect, is very good. The leather steering wheel, shifter handle and passenger seat are perfect, the drivers seat shows some light wear and a few scratches. All of the lights on the dash work, The power antenna works. There are no strange smells, the convertible top is in good shape, it is manually operated, no leaks. The body /paint is very good, no large dings/dents,there is no rust at all, the paint is exceptionally good, The wheels are exceptional, no fading, or scratching, center caps are excellent. The tires are very expensive Pirelli tires, with very little wear, no cracking at all, but have been on the car for 15 years, they are the brand and that was on the car when it was new,they go down the road, but should be replaced just because they are old, The brake booster is a rebuilt gm brand, common expensive issue, that has been done for you. The 4.5 engine floats down the road effortlessly, without any strange sounds . the front end is(very tight) and the transmission shifts right on time. There is no rust on any if the components under the hood ,this car was garaged from day one. There are no warning lights on except for an occasional message saying the a/c freon is low, never cared to have it filled, it's a convertible after all. This cadillac has its complete ,working, rust free original exhaust, My wife and I caught a beautiful 60 degree day recently and drove this Allante along our coastline,it drove beautifully without any issues, Interested parties may take this Allante to their mechanic of choice (within 10 miles from my home) before auctions end, NOT AFTER. I am listing this beautiful factory black on black 67 mustang fastback. This car is equipped with the big block 390 S code engine and 4 speed manual transmission as it came from the factory. The engine is not original to the car but is a 390 GT engine as it would have come with. The 4 speed toploader trans is original to the car and is in perfect working order while having the non factory Hurst competition plus shifter to select the gears. This transmission also has the original vin number present and legible on the bottom pad of the main case as well as the ID tag on the side. The 9" rear end appears to be original and untouched and while it has not been recently rebuilt it is functioning without any sort of gear or bearing noise. The rear end shows signs of seepage from gear oil and a build up of oily dirt but does not have any major leaks or drips. This car came to my shop not running with a beyond repair incorrect FE engine and at that time we decided to go ahead and build from the ground up a .030 over 390 GT engine. wile we did not have the original engine it was deemed best to install a 390 GT engine. I always insist on complete and correct machining of the block and cylinder heads as well as balancing of the rotating assembly. We then had a camshaft custom ground and used a blueprinted oil pump by precision oil pumps as well as heavy duty rocker shafts roller rockers and spacers from precision. The connecting rods received ARP bolts when they were reconditioned and the heads got cobra jet sized stainless valves as well as bronze guide liners and positive seals. The block was torque plate honed and squared and decked to the crankshaft center-line as well as the main bearing bores line honed. The intake manifold is a Edelbrock performer RPM and is topped with a Holley street avenger 770 while ignition is handled by the MSD pro billet distributor routing through a 6AL box. The excellent condition original radiator was re-used and an aluminum edelbrock water pump along with the original fan and clutch get the cooling system job done even on the warmest days.This 390 engine really turns on when you want it but can easily cruise around like normal when driving normal.We used a Centerforce dual friction clutch set up and a billet steel flywheel for added safety while retaining the original cast iron bell housing as it came from the factory. Hooker super comp headers and flowmaster stainless mandrel bent pipes with flowmaster mufflers and stainless tips out the back nicely complete the exhaust system. While the drivetrain was out the fuel and brake lines were replaced front to back. While I was taking care of the engine, the body went to a local shop for the new floorpan and a new black paint job. The wheels are 15x7 styled steel and BF Goodrich TA radials which are new two months ago. This car retains its 4 wheel drum brakes which are working to perfection with no issues. The interior is nice condition and has had new dash bezels, carpet, door panels and so on and the tach works as it should with the msd tach adapter installed. I am not the owner of this car but can answer any questions you may have. This is a high performing excellent condition turn key 67 big block 4-speed black on black mustang fastback and is ready to drive down the street or across the country.
