PARTS / REPAIR ONLY. This 1991 Mercury Capri includes the hard top and many new parts (all available service receipts will be provided). In the late summer of 2016 it was diagnosed with terminal rot in the driver's side A pillar, compromising the integrity of the unibody, and we've finally given up on it. The terminal issue was discovered as we were trying to sort out a puzzling mystery with the power steering, which is way too heavy on on side. We bought this car in early 2009 from a friend who was not the original owner and it has had extensive work. The steering rack and pump are new, along with many, many more parts, including but not limited to: Transmission, Driver's Side Door, Starter, Alternator, Exhaust from the manifold back including Catalytic Convertor, Rear Tires, Vinyl Convertible Top, Windshield, Front Bumper, Left Headlight Bucket and Lifting Assembly, Rear Trailing Arms, Radiator, Rear Brake Lines, All Brake Shoes and Rotors, All Wheel Bearings and Struts, Inner and Outer Tie Rods, Clock Spring, Air Bag Sensors, all belts and hoses, many small interior parts, the removable Trunk Floor and many, many more. The body was painted (by Maaco, so there's overspray everywhere) and every panel had rust removed or repaired. A small rust patch on the underside of the frame, rust on the radiator mount, and rust holes at the backs of both front wheel wells were all professionally repaired. Shipping or pickup will be solely the responsibility or the purchaser, and is not included in the sale price.

This is the first time offering this for sale. This is my personal truck so it is listed under our automotive glass business. The truck is in very good running condition, driven daily with all major maintenance done. I would say it is fairly loaded for its year. It has all the standard power windows, locks, seats, mirrors, sunroof, leather seats, entertainment center in back which is not used. It includes CD player, vanity mirror, good working air conditioning, rear air conditioning along with separate controls, 4 Wheel Drive, 3rd row seat and features the 31 gallon fuel tank which was only offered on a few model years. It is navy blue, beige interior, running boards. The glass is privacy tint, rear defogger works fine. The back seats look line a car much newer. i do not think it was used much from 2005 thru most of 2011 until i acquired it.The last couple of pictures showing the odometer did not come out clear for some reason, i can try a better picture if requested but this is the actual mileage as of Sunday Nov 15th, 2015.UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 2016 WE ONLY OFFERED THIS ONCE ON EBAY AND THEN DECIDED TO USE IT FOR FAMILY TRAVEL TO WEST VA OVER THANKSGIVING. This is a project not a finished car, but it is a great start, especially mechanically for a restoration of a hard to find classic in this area. Legitimate 1955 Chevy Bel Air Coupe 2 door with a clean MA title. Built Chevy small block 350 V8 engineNew aluminum radiator installed (I have the original if you want it instead)Newly rebuilt Muncie 4 Speed with floor shift set-up and hurst shifterNew brakes and brake linesNew Gas tank and gas linesCar runs, drives and brakes. It is currently been driven since August.New front rocket rims, back are steelies.Have all interior trim and chrome. Have majority of the exterior trim minus the paint dividers and a few other pieces. Body: car is currently in primer and is sealed. Only rot is on the floor pans. Needs some straightening on the driver side rear quarter to be show condition. Rest of the body is solid and fore the most part straight. Fenders are solid. Trunk lid and trunk floor is solid. Hood is solid. Doors are solid with a small amount of rust formation on door bottoms. Front floor pans and under the front seat pans need to be replaced. Interior: upholstery was taken out as it was in bad shape. I have the original 1955 door panels (front and back) and also the frames of the seats (the car had impala bench seats front and rear). Front impala bench seat has worn, original seat cover on it; it is mounted in the car so it can be driven away. Dash is sanded down and ready for paint. Dash has a few dime sized holes where a dash spotlight was mounted previously. All interior trim pieces taken off so that interior can be painted, but I have them all (please see pictures)Front windshield is cracked. While driving I noticed it shakes a little bit on the highway. My younger brother did not notice anything so it can’t be much, but I noticed it while driving. No one else has driven it besides me.
