Hello to all Ebayers! I have been with EBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation with EBay at 100%. I bought 2 Cadillac Fleetwoods from a collector with the intention of bringing it to California but came across a 1958 Cadillac Brougham that I've always wanted. Unfortunately I'm unable to keep these since I've already purchased the Brougham. I have not seen these cars myself and these pictures are approximately 3 months old. The prices that I'm asking for are very reasonable. If someone wants to buy Both Cadillacs I'll offer a better price. Send me a message and we can discuss it. This Cadillac Fleetwood is located in a Copart facility in Windsor, NJ. I have a clear New Jersey title that will be mailed to the buyer.PRICED TO SELL !!! Here is the description I have from the previous owner: "I have a few cars in my collection and due to my age I'm not able to enjoy this beautiful Cadillac. 1949 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 SpecialComplete Ground Up Nut And Bolt Restoration!Less Then 1,000 Miles Since Completion Hydraulic Power Windows, Hydromatic Auto V8 Back in the 30’s and 40’s Cadillac was the ultimate luxury car. It ran against the likes of Duisenberg and were admired and driven only by the wealthy and prestige. There was no doubt that when someone arrived in a Cadillac, they arrived in style and class and started the engagement. Back in this era is when they coined the phrase….”it’s the Cadillac of…..”. No matter if you had a lawn mower, an electric shaver, or even shoe laces, when someone described to you the excellence of what they had they would say, “it’s the Cadillac of lawn mowers….” No other car brand has done that ever in its life until then and even until today. It has seemed that time has passed, and nowadays it’s hard to tell what is an import and what is American made. But back in those days, a Cadillac ruled the roost in the ultimate luxury driving machine. This 1949 has every right to brag about her glory days. She cruised down the boulevard in style 65 years ago and even today as she floats across American asphalt, she seems ghostly and mysterious yet she is still a lady…..WOW. Please read on about the absolutely stunning luxury liner and let us know of any questions you may have. Exterior: As you can see from the pictures, this Cadillac is drop dead gorgeous. It has received a complete frame off, nut and bolt restoration and only has around 1000 miles on it since completion. It is dressed in deep triumph midnight blue (Factory Color) and shows with great luster and pride. The body is laser straight and the panel fit is beautiful. The chrome has all been redone and has a brilliant shine. The bright work is polished and shines extremely well. All the glass is intact and clear. All the lights and signals work properly and even still has the spare tire inflator mounted on the rear tail panel. The body is solid and completely rust free. The floors are also solid and rust free. Every nut and bolt has been paint stakingly restored. The tires are new bias plyed 3” wide whites. Please look at the beauty in the picture and pay attention to the detail of this vehicle. Also, you may or may not recall, this style Cadillac is the beginning of the tailfin era. Cadillac was always saying to its Detroit competitors…..”Catch me if you can”. Yet again in 1959 Cadillac had the largest fins ever produced on a production vehicle. Speedo is not working? Let us know of any questions. Interior: It is obvious that the restoration quality carried over into the interior. This beautifully done interior consists of the originally restored hydraulic power windows and even the power seat works. The seats, carpet and headliner have all been restored to period correct specifications. The dash and cluster is in immaculate condition. As well as the outside, every aspect of this interior has been restored. And everything works!! This car is and will be a trophy winner for years to come. Please let us know of any questions. Drive-train: As the whole car, the drive-train also received a full restoration. The original factory 331 was restored to factory specs. Producing 160hp, this Caddy was able to get up and go if it had to with its revolutionary OHV design. It provided plenty of power and torque. All driving components have been restored as well and the detail under the hood is 1949 immaculate. The car starts and runs amazing and every driving component is road worthy for show or go including brakes, suspension and exhaust. Please let us know of any questions you may have. International Bidders Welcome, Delivery to the port is available. Shipping and Payment: A $500 deposit required at end of auction end. PayPal, Money order, Cash or Cashier's Check only. Car needs to be paid in full within 7 days unless prior arrangements are made. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. I will assist with arrangements if needed. Car will not be released until funds have cleared. I highly recommend Montway.com for a instant shipping quote. Pickup location: Voorhees NJ 08043 A Restoration of this caliper would cost at least $40,000 + the cost of the car! True Investment Grade Quality
