This listing is a very seldom seen 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood 4dr sedan . The Cadillac is in a very rare original color, Turquois & it looks great! This car has been sitting in a sealed garage since `78. Its been run over the years by the past owner but not used. This Fleetwood is a very solid car, there is no rust issues. Perfect trunk ,floors,& body. I recently went thru all the brakes, cooling system, fuel system & did a tune up , new oil & filter, u-joint, 4 new radial tires, battery & some exhaust work. Basically everything you would want to go over if you wanted to start using the car & to make it safe. Everything works except the Radio & the AC. This car runs & drives excellent! The Cad has just 53,000 original miles. The glass & interior is in great condition. The seats have no rips, dash pad is perfect & the interior chrome is in above average condition. The carpet is original & a little worn but decent enough to leave. The car has one repaint from back in the early 70`s. The bumper chrome & exterior chrome is super nice. The original vinal top is still in place with one patch. The top is dry & faded but looks good from 5+ feet away & its not peeling. This Fleetwood is a great driver & fun to take to local shows. The Fleetwood turns heads everywhere I take it. This is NOT a restored car ,nor does it need to be. However some more freshening up & this Cadillac will give you years of enjoyment. 1979 cadillac fleetwood brougham in gorgeous original condition. All original except for the rear body fillers. immaculate white and blue leather interior looks and smells new. All window felts and weather stripping are soft to the touch, vinyl top is excellent. This car lived it's life in oaklahoma city and still sports its original dealer plaque from bob moore cadillac. All power options work, power antenna, radio, windows, trunk pull down, trunk release in glove box, cruise control, seats, a/c ice cold with new compressor. No rear window defogger, this is very rare as there are no lines in the rear glass. New brakes all around, tune up, new brake master cyl, new duel exhaust, carb rebuilt, choke pull off replaced, 4 new 1.5 whitewall tires, excellent chrome all around with no pitting or rust, wire hubcaps are excellent with no scuffs or pitting. This car is straight, paint still shines with a few minor imperfections, no rust, undercarraige is clean and frame is solid. 425 c.i motor and turbo 400 trans perform flawlessly. All reciepts and records to go with the sale including the original window sticker from bob moore cadillac. Car has always been garaged it's whole life. Metallic blue with two-tone blue upholsteryEngine: overhead valve V-8, 390ci., 345bhp at 4,800rpm; Gearbox: automatic; Suspension: independent front with coil springs all around; Brakes four wheel drums all around. Left hand drive.In 1959 Cadillac parted company with General Motors top designer Harley Earl, and launched the swan song of the decadent 1950s tail fin and chrome era. GM's Art and Color studio created one of the greatest icons of the 1950's automotive era, the 1959 Cadillac. No single automotive design better characterized the industry's late 50s flamboyance than the 1959 Cadillac. Large tailfins, twin bullet taillamps, two distinctive rooflines and roof pillar configurations and new jewel-like grille patterns on both the front and rear truly personified these cars. The base engine produced an ample 325bhp, however, on the Eldorado and Fleetwood models, horsepower was increased to 345.The Fleetwood model Cadillacs featured a rear facing, bullet shaped, scoop-like convex panel that stretched from the tail of the car to midway through the rear doors. This lavish trim was further highlighted by chrome belt molding that stretched all the way around the rocketship-style side scoop. Loaded with every amenity possible, the top of the line Cadillacs featured power accessories like the autotronic eye which automatically dimmed its headlights for the driving convenience of oncoming cars. On the expansive chrome, there is only some minor blemishing reported in the jeweled bumper area. The blue metallic paintwork seems to be in good condition overall. The foam padded curved fitted dashboard is reported to have been fully replaced and the interior looks to be in good overall condition. This 1959 Fleetwood is fully equipped with the distinctive autotronic eye and a wide assortment of power accessories and conveniences. Nearly unmatched in their outlandish styling and close resemblance to the famed Batmobile, the 1959 Cadillac Fleetwoods, with their dummy side air intakes, earned their place in history as among the most comfortable, amply powered American luxury cars ever built.
