Beautiful 1962 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special Hardtop. A Southern car from new, with a Black exterior with Grey cloth and leather trim interior. Has all original interior with just some light wear mostly in the drivers seat area, and some small age related trim wear on headliner and other interior parts (see the pics). This Cadillac has been in the same owners collection since 1981, having been stored inside and covered most all of its life. Has all the standard 60 Special fittings with all power windows and 4 power vent windows, all main windows function fine but the 4 power vent windows have the usual sticky operation/movement. The 8 way power front seat does not work some of the time, just needs a switch cleaning I think. Car has original Factory AC system fitted with all components in place but has not been charged or used in many years, so does not currently work. Exterior was repainted in original Black in 1990 and still looks excellent with only 2 minor areas of deterioration, one being the lower right corner of the rear window molding showing some bubbling corrosion and a lower 6" area of the right front fender has some bubbling rust peeping thru ( see pics ). A few cracks in the top dash pad, see pics. Very nice all original trunk materials with jack and spare. The tires are old wide white wall bias ply, they hold air well and have nice tread but probably not good for a cross country drive. Has a couple of light wiper scratch lines on the drivers side of the windshield that may polish out and is missing the Fleetwood badge on the trunk. Super nice solid body with some light corrosion spots on the chrome and bumpers, see the pics. Very nice under body chassis with just the normal very light surface rust of a 55 Year old Caddy. Has just recently been fitted with a NEW Battery, Water Pump, belts and hoses And an electric fuel pump to replace the OE mechanical one. Original AM signal seeker radio that works. Working power door locks. Has some various glass delamanation as is common on all cars of this age, see pics. The original Cadillac Series 60 was produced from 1936-38, but the model was maintained as the Series 60 Special from 1939 to 1976, and then again from 1987-93. The eighth generation of Cadillac to bear the name 60 Special was built from 1961 to 1964 on the full size rear-wheel-drive C Platform. The car was popularly known as a Fleetwood. With the exception of the Eldorado Biarritz convertible, the Fleetwood 60 Special was Cadillac’s most expensive passenger car. The prices of the Series 6700 were higher, but those were extended-length limousines, hearses, and ambulances. The Fleetwood 60 Special was available only as a four-door hardtop, with a long list of standard features including power seats, power windows, power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, dual backup lights, windshield washer, two-speed wipers, and a remote control trunk lock. Available options included air conditioning. Engine power was provided by Cadillac’s 390-cid V-8 with a single Rochester four-barrel carburetor, which offered 325 horsepower. From 1961-63, the 60 Special used GM’s trusty Hydramatic automatic transmission. Styling changed substantially over the years, with 1961 models sporting the sharp tail fins, popular since the late 1950s, but in 1962 these were toned down and the fins were almost gone by the end of 1964. In 1961, the grille was creased across the midline and sloped back towards both the hood and chrome bumper. For 1962, the crease was vertical, with the grille sides sloping towards the headlights. A strong horizontal center bar divided the grille in 1963-64, and the lower portion of the grille swooped over the fog lights. Cadillac made about 14,000 per year from 1962 to 1964.

Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance Sedan 4-Door 5.0 Was a one owner car until I had filed for lost title due to owners death and title was not located. I bought the car with 41000 original miles with original sales receipt from dealer and I have all registrations insurance renewals and repair ticket for the car from 1986 to current very clean inside and out but still needs work due to the fact car was parked since 2004. since I bought it I have put in a new gas tank all new tires engine flush and fluid change new belts and drove the car from Shreveport Louisiana to El paso TX 860 mile one way trip. car will need work on all chrome to either re polish or re chrome but I have sourced a used front bumper grille and wheel trim. car starts and runs drives with good brakes cold ac and cruise control but horn and windshield wipers do not work, Radio works but not the cassette player does not and antenna was disconnected because it kept running. It will require further detailing cleaning of engine compartment and other areas but the car still is very Respectful project that gets lots of attention and complements when I drive it. HUGE PICTURES BELOW Grail- This one makes the cut to be labeled as such. The best I have ever owned, and if you go to my webpage you can see I have owned 20+ low mile Fleetwoods (Search engine Jim Hailey Cars). If you want as close to new and original as possible this is simply it. West Texas one owner before me, never even driven in the rain once. Clear and easily traceable history before me. Please note it is still on the original factory installed Royal Seal tires (first year for the three quarters of an inch white wall versus the previous inch and a quarter). Everything works, fluids changed and all age related updates tended to; needs nothing to drive around town on a gorgeous Sunday. Rare options like CB, Auto Dimming center mirror, power driver recliner, locking fuel door, 3.42 posi-traction, Memory seat, and so many others. The best cosmetic year for the 1980 to 1992 body style. The prettiest, thin, non-chrome body side moldings, bronze parking lamp emblems front and rear, best grill (shared from '82 up), and the best fit and finish of all the years (goes for 84's too). Sure the drive trains got more powerful but everything else was slowly cheapened inside and out and Euro body cladding added, which still looks bizarre given the rest of the styling of the car. You will be bidding on a pristine 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham that has always been kept in a garage and that is in very good condition. This automobile is indeed one that was driven by a little old lady on special occasions only. She lived with her two daughters and they have all passed away and the car came to us through the estate by way of a 501C charity. This car has never been hurt, and there is no rust, although there is a small dent on the passenger side rear door that you can hardly see, and the chrome trim strips at the rear of the car show a few small dents. These trim pieces are still available from the Cadillac dealer. You can see in the pics that nothing has ever been in the trunk, and the leather interior condition is very good. The car has been serviced regularly by the same dealership that sold it originally, and in the glove compartment we found a small memo pad that has the dates and mileage of each time it was serviced as written by the owner .This is truly a rare find.

No accidents and no rust. Original three quarters inch white walls. The owner of a Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep dealer bought it new and kept it until his death. Genuinely loaded with memory seats, security system, and extremely rare color matched d'Elegance hubcaps. If you bought the d'Elegance package you got these color to body matched hubcaps standard from 1980 to 1985. Everyone chose instead to have the fake wire hubcaps as that was the trendy thing then. I remember the cars new and could see how the original owner's then reveled in never washing the wire hubcaps or the white walls for that matter. The standard white wall on the big body Cadillacs in 1985 was the small one you see in these pictures. It was the first year for the downsized white wall. The larger white wall was still available but I never saw one ordered that way, and I worked at a Cadillac dealer in Dallas at the time. I saw probably around a thousand I guess. Yes these Cadillacs look better with the inch and a quarter white wall but it is incorrect on this Cadillac. In my opinion the interior is simply to die for. It elicits oohs and aahs from everyone, even those late model dead heads who can't imagine anything beyond a brain matter gray or small intestine beige interior made of cheap grade leather. Everything works. Yes that means from the power antenna to the level ride to the ac and heat. You could drive this car a long distance if you don't care about things other than yourself. This car deserves to be in a museum, not driven in disposable appliance traffic. The color is maple red firemist with matching top and dark claret velour interior. A factory red painted pinstripe sets off the color nicely. Please come and see this Fleetwood for yourself in the capitol city of New Mexico. This classic car is still in good shape for a 25 year old car. the car has 106k original miles and has only had 2 owners. the seats do have some cracks and are slightly worn due to age. the gas gauge flashes "E" while vehicle is turned on or is running. there is a sensor in the tank that needs to be replaced to stop this flashing "E". oil has been changed regularly around 3.000 milesNe front brakes, rotors and calipers.A/C has been converted to R134 and the lines have been replaced. (the main lines under the hood have been replaced not every a/c line in the vehicle.
