This is a mostly original 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. I bought it a little over two years ago and have enjoyed it the last two summers. It runs and drives well, but sometimes has a vibration around 60mph. It gets about 11 mpg in the mixed driving I do. I consider it to be a low-end driver. In the winters, I: Installed Pertronix IgnitorReplaced front Bushings, ball joints, sway bar links, and CV axlesReplaced starterRebuilt carburetorReplaced radiator (I have the original one that comes with the car if you want it) Includes Factory Service Manual, Fisher Body Manual, and Convertible Top Manual The leather is dry, but I have been applying conditioner to it periodically, which is slowly softening it up. I began repair on two tears in the driver's seat. The car DOES have rust. There is some in the lower parts of the doors and front fenders, a small spot over the right rear wheel well, and the front floors should be replaced. Someone put new metal in over the old rusted metal, so it is not a Flintstones car, BUT, it will eventually need to be repaired right. Because it was not functioning, I removed the A/C compressor. It goes with the car. It needs a new top and repairs to the driver side windows before the car is left out in the rain. Because I store it in a garage, I haven't worried about that, but if you don't have a garage, you need to be prepared with dry storage until it can be repaired. But do not make an offer until you are satisfied that you have seen enough to *know* you want to buy the car for that price.Many years ago, I had someone click Buy It Now on a car without asking *any* questions and was dissatisfied with the car once he got it.
