This is a very clean & classy 1992 Cadillac Eldorado with a simulated convertible looking top. This is the first year of this iconic Cadillac body style & not the problematic northstar engine. This Eldorado has all options working with ice cold AC, the power windows & locks work as well as the power seats & lumbar adjusters. At times the drivers window will stick close to closing & needs a little pull to shut completely. I think it sticks on the rubber molding. the drivers seat adjustments all work as they should, one button is missing at the bottom of the seat, the lever still works fine. The stereo sounds great & it has a six stacker Sony CD player in the truck. The power pull downs on the truck work as they should. I can't think of anything that does not work on this car. The body on this beautiful Eldorado is razor straight & the paint shines well. The simulated convertible top looks good, it has a small cut that has been clear sealed . Some of the seams are a little frayed, all in all looks great & is very rare. The tires have great tread, the front ones have very slight weather cracks. The backs are pretty much new. The front windshield was replaced & they apparently stretched the plastic chrome trim around the corners, clipped & sealed on the drivers side with no leaks on either side. The trim thing is not very noticeable & could be easily replaced. This Cadillac runs & drives very well, great power, smooth shifting, straight steering & braking! what more do you need?I have noticed the ever slightest what I believe is a rear wheel bearing noise, very faint & could be my imagination. All in all a real nice Cadillac. The car is currently licensed & the title is clear. You are welcome to pre-inspect the car. If you cannot inspect it , you can rely on my 100% feedback & know I am describing the car as it is. And with just 58,363 original miles and only one owner, it's a fantastic survivor that'll be a hit in preservation classes at any level. Cotillion White was probably the most popular color on these cars and the angular Eldorado bodywork wears it rather well, don't you think? It's flashy but not over-done, and the Biarritz trim accentuates the long hood and sharply raked windshield. With low mileage and an owner who always treated it as an object of value, the paint is in remarkable condition for being more than 30 years old and even the bright red pinstripe down its flanks still looks great. On these cars, the critical things are the rubber bumper fillers and fender caps, and in this car's case they're all in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or even flaking paint, which is rather remarkable. Sure, there are a few nicks and other signs of use on the car, but finding one this clean really isn't all that easy these days. In addition to the long streak of stainless trim along the hood and doors, the Biarritz also included the brushed stainless steel roof, which was its signature feature dating back to the 1957 Eldorado Brougham. The rest of the chrome and trim is in fantastic shape for its age, as are the unique taillight lenses with Cadillac crests. The red leather interior was as luxurious as American cars could get in 1984. Pillow-tufted seats are as comfortable as the couch in your living room and show only very minor wear that's not surprising for the car's age. Wonderfully ornate door panels and plush carpets add to the luxurious feeling, as do the Cadillac crest floor mats. Everything was standard on the Biarritz, including power windows, seats, locks, and mirrors, a tilt wheel, cruise control, rear defrost, and automatic climate control, the latter of which has been converted to R134a. The original Delco stereo is gone, replaced by a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette head unit that sounds much better, but beyond that, it's completely stock. The digital instrument panel is a relic of the 1980s, but yeah, it's pretty cool today. The Eldo also offers a reasonably spacious trunk with full-sized spare and jack assembly. Cadillac's sturdy 4.1 liter V8 was the sole powerplant, and it's plenty torquey enough to make this an effortless cruiser. Proper maintenance is critical on these engines, and it sure looks like the original owner stayed on top of it, because the engine bay is very clean and the car runs beautifully. There are zero modifications save for the A/C upgrade, and yes, it's a pretty tight fit in there. Digital fuel injection ensures that it always starts easily and runs smoothly even when it's cold and you might be pleasantly surprised by its fuel economy thanks to the 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. All Eldorados rode on a fully independent suspension with automatic load leveling in the back and they all had 4-wheel disc brakes. There's plenty of evidence of this one's easy life underneath, where it's quite clean and offers a recent exhaust system. Wire spoke hubcaps and narrow 215/75/15 whitewall radials are pretty much the only choice that looks right on a car like this. Fully documented with its original manuals, gold keys, and delivery paperwork, this is a cool survivor at a very reasonable price. Car runs very well, however there are some minor issues that a car nearly 50 years old would expect, such as: Front rt. axle boot may need replacing. Passenger side window motor needs to be replaced, needs moulding for rear window and the vacuum pump for the hideaway lights need to be fixed. There is some wear on the drivers side elbow rest, but overall the interior leather is in great shape. The Car is lifted by leaf springs to accommodate the 22" wheels, which is relatively easy to change back to its original look if one wanted to. Please contact me if you have any further questions!
