Why Spectacular? 19,000 Original Miles on this beautiful Mandarin Orange Metallic Eldorado. This car looks to be all original with the exception of the tires, front and rear bumper fillers. I received documentation to support the reported miles in the form of a signed odometer statement from the previous owner, a service record from a local Cadillac dealer in 2004 with documented 17,838 miles, and an appraisal from 1993 with 14,130 miles on it. The documentation is worth noting, however once you look at the condition of the carpet, seats, paint, under the hood and chassis, you'll be very impressed. The interior of this car is incredible. All power options on this one; power seats, power windowns, power locks, and power convetible top that all work! The carpets were well taken care of. The dash and components are perfect. The door panels are great. The interior electronics all seem to work appropriately. The only flaw, which you see in the pictures, are two very small blemishes in the leather seats. The convertible top is excellent and a standard orange vinyl soft boot is included. The exterior paint finish is what you would expect of an original 1975 model with 19,000 miles. There are a few scratches and knicks here and there. I chose not to touch up and molest the originality. The unique part of the car will be the dealer optioned "Continental" deck lid. I was told it was $500 option at the dealer when you bought the car. I was told these were done in lacquer, and many of you may know that years of aging creates a sinking effect and the body work to construct is noticeable up close. The white paint-on pinstripes are all intact, no burn through anywhere! The chrome bumpers and stainless trim all around are great. One hubcap has a little rash on it. The glass is great as well, including the rear glass window. This way this car goes down the road is impressive, I assume like they did new. The motor has no apparent leaks. The transmission shifts smoothly. Mechanically what you would expect. I believe the original muffler and exhaust is still on the car, the muffler rear seam is split a bit and slightly noticeable, see pictures. You will also notice how nice it is underneath the hood. The original decals intact, none missing from what I can tell. It has a newer AC compressor, still R-12 and worked this fall! As mentioned, the originality is incredible. You shouldn't be disappointed with this one, however if you need clarification please ask about anything! These quality 70's Cadillac's are becoming more popular every day. This question always comes up: Can I drive this home? My answer: First of all, you can do whatever you want. Everything checks out during my 20 miles of driving, however it is 40 years old! The car runs good, has clean oil, clean transmission fluid, but things can happen! This vehicle is being sold "as is" with no warranty. Any buyers will be responsible to pay appropriate taxes, title, and license fees. At point of sale, I request payment in full within 7 calendar days. Upon a cash payment or bank wire transfer, I will release the car and title immediately. For any cashier's checks, I will release the car and title once funds have cleared. The car is located in secure and climate controlled storage in Wisconsin, I have no problem storing the vehicle once paid for until shipping or pick up can be arranged within a reasonable amount of time. This Cadillac is in excellent original condition with only 6,189 original miles. Everything is in good working order with NO restoration work having ever been performed on any part of it. It gets started on a monthly basis and driven around the neighborhood to keep everything working properly. This beautiful car took first place at the University of Utah Concourse a few years back and is a beautiful classic. Arrangements for transporting the car is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
