I purchased this V in May as my second vehicle. Its the cleanest Gen 1 V I've seen, inside and out. It has one accident on the carfax from the last owner where the bumper had to be repainted. It had a few small spider cracks where someone bumped it again, hardly noticeable. Also to the left of the license plate it has a VERY minor dent, I couldn't capture it with the camera. Other than that its in incredible condition. I bought it from a 78 year old gentleman who was the second owner. He bought it certified pre-owned from a dealership after the first owner, a FL highway patrol officer, traded it in in 2009. He kept it in the garage and his wife drove it to work, which was only a mile away. When I bought the car I was planning on keeping it for awhile. It had 46K miles on it and I had every single fluid in the car replaced by my trusted mechanic. he also changed the cabin air filter, running belt and wipers. about a month later I bought all of the BMR suspension parts ($1,500) and had them also installed. This was to counter the known problems with the rear differential deflection. It has the Anti wheel hop kit and bushings. In addition it has the BMR trailing arms, pinion support brace and toe rods installed. These suspension mods are the only modifications done to the car. I never planned on building the car, I just also didnt want to be nervous about the integrity of it, might be just myself a little paranoid. I have all of the original documents from the original purchase of the car. The only reason I'm considering selling is I've just taken a job and hour+ away and this wont be the most comfortable way to commute and my primary vehicle is a 2500 duramax which isnt the most economical but I still need it for the boat. Up for your consideration is my very clean low mileage first generation CTS-V. Being a 10 year old car this V shows very well both on the interior and exterior with just minimal wear to be seen. I believe I am the 3rd owner of this V with the second being a boutique dealership. Car has always been garaged in my ownership and has always been a non smoking car. The build on the car was done in 2007 and since that time just north of 15k miles has been put on it. Prior to my ownership only Amzoil fluids were put into it and since I have owned it I have only used royal purple fluids. The car runs incredible and sounds just the same. It gets compliments wherever I go. Interior of the car I would put at a 9 with just minimal wear to be seen with the common peeling of the knobs and buttons. Exterior I would put at a 8, the paint shines great with only one small door ding on the drivers door, an attempt in the past to break into the car was done resulting in small damage between the drivers door handle and door itself, and as to be expected rock chips on the front. HREs 546r wheels look good with no curb rash however the hardware of the wheels could stand to be deep cleaned. Car made 549rwhp/524rwtq back when it was built. Previous owner had East Coast Superchargers due a street tune on it in 2012, at that time diff was serviced, all spark plugs replaced and motor compression tested, all cylinders preformed flawlessly and I had the results if prospective buyer would like to see. This V is a pretty sweet example of a low mile,(nitrous ready) first gen that has been well maintained and taken care of its whole life. I’m sure I’ve missed some of the mods, but you get the idea of the car. The car does show signs of being a 10 year old daily driven car. There are rock chips on the front bumper and hood, paint chipping on passenger mirror, a couple of door dings (possibly removable by PDR), some scratches, but overall the paint is in okay shape. Some new paint would really make the car look great on the outside. There is no major dents/dings and the car has been taken on many 12 hour + roadtrips.
