HUGE PICTURES BELOW Grail- This one makes the cut to be labeled as such. The best I have ever owned, and if you go to my webpage you can see I have owned 20+ low mile Fleetwoods (Search engine Jim Hailey Cars). If you want as close to new and original as possible this is simply it.  West Texas one owner before me, never even driven in the rain once. Clear and easily traceable history before me. Please note it is still on the original factory installed Royal Seal tires (first year for the three quarters of an inch white wall versus the previous inch and a quarter). Everything works, fluids changed and all age related updates tended to; needs nothing to drive around town on a gorgeous Sunday. Rare options like CB, Auto Dimming center mirror, power driver recliner, locking fuel door, 3.42 posi-traction, Memory seat, and so many others. The best cosmetic year for the 1980 to 1992 body style. The prettiest, thin, non-chrome body side moldings, bronze parking lamp emblems front and rear, best grill (shared from '82 up), and the best fit and finish of all the years (goes for 84's too). Sure the drive trains got more powerful but everything else was slowly cheapened inside and out and Euro body cladding added, which still looks bizarre given the rest of the styling of the car.   Please note I have been on eBay since 2001 and have shipped cars all over the world to pleased customers. More pictures on my website if you Google my name, I'm the first one up.  Jim Hailey (214) 415-7373

Huge Pictures Below, Click on each several times for largest sizeThis 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance has 13,000 original miles. Original paint on all body panels. No accidents and no rust. Original three quarters inch white walls. The owner of a Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep dealer bought it new and kept it until his death. Genuinely loaded with memory seats, security system, and extremely rare color matched d'Elegance hubcaps. If you bought the d'Elegance package you got these color to body matched hubcaps standard from 1980 to 1985. Everyone chose instead to have the fake wire hubcaps as that was the trendy thing then. I remember the cars new and could see how the original owner's then reveled in never washing the wire hubcaps or the white walls for that matter. The standard white wall on the big body Cadillacs in 1985 was the small one you see in these pictures. It was the first year for the downsized white wall. The larger white wall was still available but I never saw one ordered that way, and I worked at a Cadillac dealer in Dallas at the time. I saw probably around a thousand I guess. Yes these Cadillacs look better with the inch and a quarter white wall but it is incorrect on this Cadillac. In my opinion the interior is simply to die for. It elicits oohs and aahs from everyone, even those late model dead heads who can't imagine anything beyond a brain matter gray or small intestine beige interior made of cheap grade leather. Everything works. Yes that means from the power antenna to the level ride to the ac and heat. You could drive this car a long distance if you don't care about things other than yourself. This car deserves to be in a museum, not driven in disposable appliance traffic. The color is maple red firemist with matching top and dark claret velour interior. A factory red painted pinstripe sets off the color nicely. Please come and see this Fleetwood for yourself in the capitol city of New Mexico. More pics at jim hailey classic cars dot and wouldn't you know it a com. Please note I have been on eBay for 12 years and have 100% positive feedback. I have shipped collector only cars all over the world. This is a sideline hobby of mine and lets make it enjoyable. Jim Hailey 214 415 7373

MANY PICTURES BELOWPlease click several times on each picture for an extreme blow up 1981 Chrysler Imperial with 4,000 original miles. All original and perhaps the nicest in existence. Known history since new and collector owned since new. Equipped with the optional Mark Cross leather interior and astro roof. Cartier crystals on the opera lamps, steering wheel, ignition key, and hood ornament. Imperial new car kit with key, fob, and Mark Cross umbrella. This Imperial needs NOTHING. Everything works. Come and see and drive it for yourself to verify. This car is very well made, much better made than the same era Eldorado. I am amazed how tight, rattle free, and solid this pup feels. Below is a link to a huge resource on this era Imperial. http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1981/index.htmI have been on eBay for 13 years and sent collector cars out of my collection all across the world with 100% positive feedback. Best original 80 to 85 Fleetwood Brougham Coupe I have seen yet.  This Fleetwood Coupe wears its original paint, original fillers, and original headliner; all are in excellent condition.  Special ordered car when new.  Obviously has the rare astroroof of course.  Even rarer is the Heavy Duty Ride package. This package makes the car ride and steer much better without a penalty in ride, heck the ride is even better in fact.  I guess the name of the package scared the mental midgets who ordered the cars for the dealers back in the day.  That wouldn't have taken too much.  Standard factory hubcaps are what this car came with, but I do have an excellent set of Fleetwood wire hubcaps should anyone want the me too look. Yes all the options work, including the climate control, rear load leveling suspension, electro luminescent opera lamps, and every other dog gone item.  No scratches!!!  Amazing. There are more pictures of this Fleetwood at jim hailey classic cars dot and a com.  I have been on eBay for well over a decade (more pics at jim hailey classic cars with a dot and a com) and have sold collector grade cars out of my collection on this fora.  I do this for fun so I try to keep it that way.  Please ask any questions as visits and inspections are encouraged.  You can call me at 214 415 7373.   Please Click Many Times On Each Picture For Blow Ups

I present to you what I consider the grail of 1980 to 1992 Cadillac Fleetwoods and Broughams. 1980 was the last year for the carburetor 6.0 Liter big block V8.  If you collect classic cars you know what this means.  It means the car can sit for months, if not years, and start/run without mandatory fuel injection issues, not to mention sensor issues common to throttle body injections. I have owned I guess all the drive train variations for this body car.  The Buick 4.1 Liter V6, the Oldsmobile 5.7 Liter diesel, the 6.0 Liter V864, the HT4100, the Oldsmobile 307, the Chevrolet 305, and the Chevrolet 5.7 Liter.  The 6.0  and 5.7 Liter Fleetwoods are easily the best.  I prefer the 6.0 Liter because it is smoother, quieter, has a better transmission, and can last longer.  The 5.7 is good but you can tell it is a truck engine, not to mention it is saddled with the love it or hate it pseudo Euro trim of the '90 to '92 years. Of course the LT-1 equipped Fleetwoods have the best engine, but that body style I doubt will ever be a classic.  Same goes as a lesser extent to the '77 - '79 Fleetwoods.  Those have the really good 425 V8, but the styling is not quite as good as the '80 to '89. I have been wanting this car since I was 13.  I went to sleep with the brochure on my head. Strange I know, but I couldn't find one used when I was a 16 year old.  It was never to be found. Ever.  I looked at least monthly for decades.  Literally.  Sure you can find cars in need of restoration in ugly colors with inferior drive trains, but if you really know these cars then you realize how ridiculously rare this is.  All options, the best color combination, and the very best year all things considered.  Of course this is subjective, but I would like to think I know my way around these rwd Cadillacs. This example has the dark claret firemist paint, elk grain padded top, and leather De'Elegance interior.  All the super rare and expensive options; Factory CB, Astroroof, power driver and passenger recliner, automatic dimming, posi-traction, and genuine factory wire wheels.  I have placed a nos '85 Fleetwood Brougham front grill, front parking lights, and rear tail lights on this car.  I like them better, I always thought the '84 to '85 trim was the absolute best.  I would even place the chromeless body side protector moldings on this car if not for this being the last year of clipped on said trim. Of course, as pictured, I have all the original parts in excellent condition if you want to original look back. This leads me to tell you this car wears all its original sheet metal and body pieces.  There is no bondo anywhere and most of the car is original paint.  I repainted the hood (crazing in center, noticeable when a few inches away only) and trunk lid (repainted poorly under warranty by dealer when new), as well as did the absolutely necessary fillers (the new and expensive soft type as original), headliner, sail panels, and visors. All of these MUST be done if you want a Fleetwood you can drive and use.  Period.  All of these pieces fail in moderate to warm climates regardless of exterior element or exposure.  They do not fail only by the sun.  Glue and plastic just give way due to time.  The car retains its factory original painted pin stripe in all places.  The wire wheels are actually balanced and hold air without tubes!  Of course they are in excellent original condition as pictured.  The elk grain top has all its stitching and the driver's tufted seat doesn't have the usual scuff marks yet from getting in and out in the back side that DeElegance models endure. Everything works on this car.  Period.  Fuel monitor system lights, all fiber optics, all lights in and out, all illuminated visor mirrors and covers, all power motors, trunk remote, power antenna, and trunk pull down. All power accessories work inside and out, nothing over looked.  She starts first time every time and idles smoothly.  Shifting is smooth and rattles are non existent.  She happily loafs at 70 mph all day.  I actually drove her 700 miles in one day several months ago. The steering, brakes, and suspension are all as tight as they should be for an ideally kept 35 year old car.  Cost no object on making this car as close to new as possible.     I have been on eBay for 11 years and have sold several classic cars out of my collection here.  I am only attempting to sell this one because someone has put a gun to my head.  There are more pictures at jim hailey classic cars dot and a com. Check out this one of a kind beautiful piece of history!!! A 1940 Cadillac Le Salle Sedan!!! Four doors, light blue interior and black paint outside. In the trunk, there are two spare tires. One of those spare tires is a whitewall. Four beautiful whitewall tires accent the beautiful lines on this car. Under the hood is a flat head V8 engine that still runs like a champ!!! This car boasts 29374 original miles!!! This car is all original except two upgrades. One is the mechanical fuel pump was bi-passed and an electric pump was put in-line. The mechanical pump is still under the hood, just disconnected. The electrical fuel pump was just replaced with a brand new one. The second upgrade that this car has received is an extra 6 volt battery in tandem to help start the car. This car has always been garage kept and maintained. The paint has a few small dings and scratches but not really noticeable. There is one small crack in the paint by the hood. All the electrical works as it should, even the Radio still works!!! The small triangle windows open and close in all the doors! There are no holes in the seats. The upholstery is amazing!!! Pure craftsmanship from the 40's!!! The transmission is manual and is a "three on the tree". This vehicle really is a true specimen of how beautiful cars were made in the 40's!! This vehicle is being listed on multiple websites. Owner reserves the right to end this listing anytime. Vehicle is described to the best of my ability. Sold as is. We can provide a shipping quote for you if you buy. Thank you for looking!! For sale is a 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 4,000 original miles.  Yes 4,000 original miles. Original tires are still on the car.  All original paint.  425 cu in V8 and the turbo 400 transmission. Doesn't really get any more reliable than that.  Rear fillers have been replaced and the car runs and drives well as a 4,000 mile car should.     Rare Dark Cedar Red Firemist paint with same color interior and a light cedar firemist top.   Nothing on this car has been modified and all is original except of course the battery.  Inspections welcomed and encouraged.  There are more pictures of this Fleetwood at jim hailey classic cars dot and a com.  This maybe the best or at the very least one of the best '77 to '79 Cadillacs out there.   I have been on eBay for well over a decade and have sold collector grade cars out of my collection here, this is one of my best.  Please ask any questions and visits and inspections are encouraged.  You can call me at 214 415 7373.  Thanks.

No issues. I am afraid I just lied. The power antenna does not work. It broke a few months ago when I plugged it in again (if you have a working factory antenna you are urged to unplug it as the plastic nylon cord inside gets brittle due to age) to show a friend it worked. This CB antenna is extremely difficult to replace. The CB antenna plugs were different thru the years. An aftermarket antenna would make the CB inoperative. So I have lived with converting the original antenna to manual. You pull it up and down by hand. If anyone knows where I can find a working antenna of 1980 Cadillac vintage ('81 might work too, not sure, later will not I find, and it has to be Cadillac!) I will gladly buy it. Sheesh. Terrible I have to go on about these stupid antennas, but most people are in the dark about the CB ones in particular. I have been on eBay for 11 years and have sold several classic cars out of my collection here. I am only attempting to sell this one because someone has put a gun to my head.
