This 1953 Type 62, 2 door Cadillac Coupe De ville, originally a CA, car. The previous owner, owned a chrome shop, a good thing if your restoring a Cadillac. Everything has been chromed, $ 9,000. dollars of plating, many items are still wrapped in paper from the chrome shop. All Stainless trim is in very good condition, some trim still requires polishing. All crest, and emblems are there "V" are replated as is the Flying Lady hood ornament. Both Rear Skirts are there, straight, and in good working order. It is rust free car, the Body is straight and solid, no signs of damage from a wreck or crash. All the glass is there, no cracks or broken panes. All gauges are complete and there. The motor ran 4 years ago, solid and tight, no smoking, it has not run since, the car is in storage. Has been turned over on a regular basis.The motor has a new Water Pump, a rebuilt Fuel Pump, rebuild ignition, points and cap, as well as new wires, the fuel tank has been rebuilt and sealed, new fuel lines and most brake lines. It has Fatman 2 " drop spindles on the front, rebuilt brakes, new shoes, new brake lines, new wheel bearings, and suburban springs,The rear has raised front spring hangers to set the car level. It has Kugel 90' pedal and master cylinder mounts, new Mustang master cly. The door handle are removed and filled, but can easily be open back up, and the original handles used. All in door parts are there installed and working, all crank windows are working well front and rear. No other body modification no other body mounting hole filled.
