1976 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. VIN 6L47S6Q285705 The Biarritz was a late midyear option package for 1976 that added specific trim and moldings as well as option groups. Odometer presently shows 82,5xx. I have Probate paperwork from 1993 showing 70,000 miles and service records through 2005 so I believe the mileage to be correct. You are welcome to inspect the car in person, or have a representative look at the car at your expense. It is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty except for clear Connecticut title. Connecticut no longer issues titles to vehicles over 20 years old so title will be transferred via Bill of Sale and documentation of Chain of Ownership. Car has twin front 6-way power white leather seats in decent condition with no rips or tears. Carpet is in very good condition with a small tear on the passenger side. The engine always starts right up with no smoke, and drives and shifts as it should, based on a short drive around the neighborhood. The engine has a tick/knock that comes and goes. It does not appear to have ever been apart. The HVAC auto temperature control operates normally; fan is noisy but operates, the AC compressor does not come on. Power windows and locks appear to work as they should, though the drivers side window operates slow. Tilt and telescopic wheel function nice. Exterior lights and signals work. Headliner is clean and does not sag. The dash is not cracked. The interior does not show it's age at all. The twilight sentinel and auto dimmer operate as they should. Rear window and fender-mounted fiber optics operate as they should. The undercarriage is sound, with a functioning, quiet exhaust system with cat intact. There are some surface rust scabs showing throughout the body (see photos). In the day we'd call this car a "10 footer". The lower rear quarters have some rust starting. The bumper fillers have deteriorated (as they do with all Cadillacs of the era) There is a dent and tear in the passenger rear quarter panel. No holes in the floors or trunk. The car stops as it should and the brakes appear to have plenty of life left in them. I have not attempted to use the parking brake due to the age of the car and it's apparent years of disuse. The drive train shows oil stains but there doesn't appear to be any leaks that cause drips. The power antenna is up and does not go down. I don't know whether or not the cruise control works but the dash light does illuminate. The level control has been bypassed but a Schrader valve behind the license plate allows you to inflate manually. I added air around Christmas and they are still holding the same pressure. Tires have tread but are older and show signs of cracking. They are mounted on aftermarket wire wheels that were on the car when I got it. TERMS: I require a $200 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of offer acceptance, balance due upon pickup. Balance can be made by cash in person.
