Here is my Cadillac Limo that I bought about 10 years ago because it would fit in my garage...so said the measuring tape, but an unseen pipe meant that it was too long by about an inch, so it remained in the outdoors, used now and again and stored for the winter months.  The car runs, but, my mechanic tells me that his best considered opinion is that timing change has slipped a tooth, so it runs, but has very little get up and go. I did drive it home before it was parked, and did pretty well as long as I really took it easy on the acceleration, and each time I let my foot off the gas, it would shift up a gear, so I could get reasonable speed, but hills were slow, and I really wanted get it fixed, but I just do not have room.  So, it needs to have the timing chain dealt with, and I would suspect ta that time the distributor cap and wires should be replaced as they are likely partly to blame for this situation.  The bumper fillers all are in various stages of distress on the front and the back, but I have found replacements on the internet a time or two and they are supposedly made with different and better materials that hold up. Bumper fillers are cosmetic bits that fill in the space between the bumpers and the car and when they are there they complete the body lines and the looks better.  I have had a few unique and interesting things fixed on the car...there is a bearing in the middle of the driveshaft, which is very long, and after 30 or so years, it failed. That took it off the road for quite a while as many mechanics had lots of ideas, but few made me feel confident but eventually it was fixed and life was good again.  Not long after that, I heard another bearing noise and it was the rear end wheel bearings which very unique and mostly impossible to find, but with patience, the same mechanic found a solution and once again, life was good!  And then came that day when I found it difficult to get up a hill...and the same professional checked it over and gave me the news. I limped it home and it has been in the driveway ever since, but I have started it about once a month or so.  The AC is there, but stopped working about 7 years ago. A sad day it was. There is very little rust on the car, but indeed, on the passenger side above the rear wheel, there is a little spot that needs attention, The roof is pretty good, and I was thinking of looking into painting it as it does have some...I am not sure how to describe them...sort of smiles...that look dark, but I am thinking that some sort of paint would seal it up pretty well.  I am suspecting it might need new tires, but that would up to whoever certifies the car for you.  The interior is light blue and in pretty good shape. And it is so comfy!!! The ride is also so smooth...so forgiving...yes, it rides like a Cadillac!!!  The engine is a V8 307 from what I have been told. I have never seen it leaking any oil, or burning any oil and I never had to add oil between changes and no matter how long it was sitting, when summoned to perform, it would come to life and drive so smooth, and indeed, the transmission is lovely...my old GM station wagon would clunk into gear in the driveway, but this car is so wonderfully smooth under the same circumstances.  The privacy window between the driver and the passengers is open and at some point did stop working, it might be a fuse, but as I rarely used it, it did not bother me any.  There are two phones that make up and internal intercom, but they did not work when I got it and I did not make any efforts to correct that. One sits in the middle easily able to be picked up by the driver and the other is just inside the rear passenger door. There is a little TV that never was hooked up, and a separate music setup in the rear that used the radio or, yes cassette tapes, and has in interesting sort of light show. It would not be original equipment at all, no clue when it was added.  The main radio works, but a vandal decided to snap off the antenna so it has limited range, but if I had fixed it, I would have replaced it with one of those retractable kind that go up when the radio is turned on and glided back into safe storage when the radio is not being listened to or the ignition turns off.  There is a little antenna on the back trunk...I do not think it does anything except look sort cool, and I think it might date back to the actual car phone days.  If you are putting together a movie and need a limo, you could limp it around as it is, and of course if you want to run it off a cliff, or blow it up, well, that is up to you.  It would need to be towed away from here. I managed to make it home from Downsview to Markham but I knew the trick but would not want anybody else to give that a try.  I need it sold, paid for, and out of the driveway during the first week of January 2017.  I am open to offers...please feel free to ask anything at all that you might want to know. With not much effort and money, you could have a great classic car and cruise in grace, comfort and style! It can hold and has held 9 people but that is with 6 in the back where you will find two seats facing each other, and 3 in the front with one of them being the driver.  Think of it as about the same capacity of a minivan, just in a different configuration that you and your buddies or family will enjoy for years to come.  I always thought it would be fun car to paint up for the next playoff run of the Leafs or the Jays, but who knows when that might be? There is always next year!  So, here it is...a big old classic car that could be on the road pretty quickly, after a tune up and the timing chain get sorted out.  Or, It could be restored and be impressive as all get out!!!  Or a donor for another vehicle...or yes, sent over a cliff for a motion picture or TV show.  I will add more pictures as I am able...thanks for looking and seriously considering this classic vehicle!
