Up for sale is an absolute one of a kind, historical custom Cadillac Seville San Remo convertible originally purchased new by the last reigning princess of Hawaii, Princess Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawananakoa of the House of Kawananakoa. This vehicle has the utmost in historical significance in every respect. It was purchased new from Ogner Motors in Los Angeles, Ca right at the beginning of 1980. It was used as her personal estate car to transport celebrities and dignitaries alike. This car has a fully documented 16k Original miles from new. The unique part of this car is not only it's royalty history, but it's documentation. I have never owned a car documented so well as this one. It comes with everything from the original purchase contract from Ogner, personally signed original checks for the purchase and every repair, copies of all bank statements, insurance paperwork, transport paperwork, receipts for repair and service, and the best of all... personal letters from Ms. Kawananakoa to her personal secretary, helpers, chauffeur, lawyers when she was suing Ogner and the Dealer in Hawaii over unacceptable repairs, The documentation is like a very complete biography of this car from the day it was new. The personal letters are priceless.. mostly unhappiness over issues with the car, repair shop (Shuman Carriage), staff, etc.. including the return letters from the staff, letters from staff to other staff, Letters to and from her attorneys, from Ogner motors directly, from the repair shop, etc... It is unbelievable.. There is more and more... Simply the best documentation anyone could ask for... and lots of royal stationary. The car itself is very original. Most of the original lacquer is in place, however there have been a couple of small repairs over the years.. done well, of course. The original finish does have some checking on the top surfaces, but still presents well. Very straight original body with maybe a small ding or 2. Nice filler panels. Original trim is very nice with some slight aging/pitting on the a couple of pieces of trim. Still very presentable and shiny. After all, it is from Hawaii.. The top was replaced about 20 years ago to the tune of $5K and is standing up well with only a couple of slight rub spots in the fabric right behind the windshield. Could use some selected weatherstripping replaced around the top and doors, but not bad. Very nice chrome bumpers and lights with a couple of small repaired cracks in the RH headlight bezel and possibly the LF bumper corner pushed toward the filler panel a little? maybe??. Very nice glass all around and nice plastic rear window that is still very usable. Power top car. Top working fine last opened, but have not tried since stored. Comes with the ORIGINAL leather parade boot/cover. Mechanically, she runs well. The fuel injection seems to work proper. The car drives well and has great power. Ice cold A/C and good heat. A very well maintained car and smooth driver. No major leaks or mechanical issues. The car was sold to a collector in Hawaii before our ownership. He had dual exhaust installed with custom mufflers and resonators. It has a very nice, deep sound to it. I believe it might need an alignment, but could be wrong on that. The complete brake system has been replaced/rebuilt in the last year with new master cyl., 4 new calipers, new pads, brake hoses, etc. the service has been brought up to date recently and the chassis lubed and inspected. The original and very rare factory small hub wire wheels are beautiful and retain their original matching GM center caps. There are 4 brand new tires and tubes and were balanced with weights on the inside. The engine wa replaced by Shuman Carriage in Hawaii... twice.... the paperwork is a bit interesting as to why and what happened to the first replacement. Needless to say, unhappiness ensued and another replacement engine was shipped overnight! at the cost of the shop to satisfy the Ms. K. What a mess for the shop... So, the engine was black when installed, not 1979 blue. The valve cover gaskets were replaced recently and a inspection revealed a "as-new" engine on the inside.. It looks as if it has no miles on it. The car came factory with air leveling suspension and it seems to function properly. New rear fuel lines and fuel filter were also recent. A very, very clean chassis showing a pampered 16K original miles.. This car was optioned with the Ultima interior. It is absolutely original and in very,very nice shape for it's age with only minor wear on the driver's seat. Some fading but that is to be expected. Very nice dash and trim. Carpet is nice and black but at some point they put a small patch on the floor of the driver's side. It is in the paperwork and is covered by the floor mat.. But looks good.. if you notice it under the mat. Upgraded Alpine stereo installed by previous owner sounds very nice. Some slight drying of the leather on the top of the rear seat but all in all, very supple and luxurious for a beautiful Italian interior. All in all, this has to be one of the rarest, best documented custom coach built Cadillac's in existence. This car is all original. One of 24 reported built, only a few in existence and in very private collector hands. Most in existence have had major restoration done. This one is ORIGINAL! As built. And you know they are only original once. This car is absolutely a top quality investment and a fabulous addition to the most astute of collections... I believe it is the only ROYALTY owned San Remo in existence. If you are looking for a blue chip collector investment, this is it. Ms. K paid $59,000.00 for this new in 1979! A museum piece for sure. Up for sale is a beautiful, low mileage 2003 Cadillac Escalade with just 93,000 original one owner miles. I am selling this car for a good friend of mine. This is a one owner, very low mileage car from Huntington Harbor, California. It has always been garaged and driven mostly locally. It has had the best of service and care. My friend is 78 years old and has no idea how to list a car on Ebay, so he asked me to sell it for him. The condition of the car speaks for itself. This Escalade is miles above 99% of these out there in condition and pedigree. It drives beautifully. It is a 3wheel drive with the 5.3L, so much better fuel economy. As you can see from the photos, it has the factory upgraded gold emblem package and chrome wheels. The car has been regularly detailed through out it's life. Even the plastic wheel well liners look like new! The recent work on the car includes: New GM fuel pump 2 new Michelin tires (other two are excellent) New real ceramic brake pads New factory rear air shocks- a year ago- very expensive. New belts Oil and filter just changed Transmission serviced about 5k miles ago This Beautiful car has never been in an accident, damaged, or repainted. What you see is as she was built. There is a little wear on the driver's seat (see photos), and maybe a couple of small scrapes or chips?? on the bumpers, but nothing that detracts from the car. The paint finish is high gloss and a beautiful pearl white. There is a special liner under the rear most seat, but can be removed easy. It was custom made for the car with special cut outs for the seat brackets. The interior as a whole is a definite 9 out of 10 as only he and his wife used it. The exterior is a 9 out of 10. Chrome rims are beautiful, with no pealing or corrosion. The chassis is absolutely clean and fresh, as you would expect from a garaged so. Cal car. Comes with a new front "bra" that he purchased when the car was new, but never installed, along with all of the original paperwork, manuals, and some service history..
